From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with an expiration date of May 02, 2016. Mahogany-red pour with a quick lasting off-white head. The nose features sweet malts, a yeasty quality, and a kind of fruit juice quality. Maybe closer to pear. The body is light to medium. The taste has a more fruity quality to it and less of a malty quality. LetsGoState (886) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 14, 2016
Aroma is a fairly bland malt. Taste has hints of roasted malts, but no character. Overall not the greatest. tekstr1der (495) - New Hampshire, USA - MAR 12, 2016
Bordering on adjunct quality, this pours a nice amber with minimal head. While some malty tones come through in the nose, the flavor suffers from flat tones and cheapness in taste. Sledutah (7759) - Utah, USA - MAR 7, 2016
12oz bottle from the state store Bricks (1140) - Delaware, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Pours clear dark mahogany with a small beige head, light lacing. Aroma is bready, toasted malts and mild smokiness. Flavors of toasted malts, caramel, raisins and herbal spices
Great looking beer, dark red.. fizzy head. Aroma of smoked malt. Taste is sweet malt. Not bad.

One day I’ll just stop. A sad excuse for a great classic style. Thin and spritzer like with little depth to the sweet bready nose and flavor. FROTHINGSLOSH (7932) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 29, 2016
Sampled on draft at Gateway Grill this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with caramel and a bit of golden fruit. The flavor was toasty with honey, caramel and some golden fruit. Medium length finish. Medium body and fairly smooth. craven5000 (120) - Westville, Indiana, USA - FEB 20, 2016
Bottle. Under a tall brown head that quickly diminishes is a reddish brown body. Smooth and slightly slick and oily. Full, a slightly caramelish, a tad vanilla sweet and slightly floral. Satisfying. arnold931 (1263) - Iowa, USA - FEB 15, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear dark ruby with very little head. Not much nose. A little caramel. Taste is watery. Caramel and toffee. Lots of carbonation. Strange chemical aftertaste. Bill Becker (1105) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - FEB 12, 2016
Best before May 5th. From their variety pack.
Pours a dark brown. .with reddish hues. Small off white head of foam.
Smells of caramel malt, hints of chocolate and molasses.
Tastes sweetish from the caramel, bits of grain, molasses and chocolate lightly done. I sense a peculiar fruity note that I got in the smell as I rechecked.
Body is good.
Pretty enjoyable beer this is.
