Pour.....Baltic Brown Ale? Man, light coppery brown pour. Super viscous, sits dark raisin brown in the glass. Thin shitty head. Totally smells like a homebrew, soy sauce-ish and flat. Some chocolate and raisiny notes. Very boring and borderline offensive. Bitter burnt sugar and full syrupy body. Dis-aster. cheap (5961) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Glad to have a chance to taste this, from a bottle from gorillos. How could this be less than 2$? Pours a big very dark brownish thing with a little dark red punching thru. Had a creamy choco moose head at first but now faded. Smell is very up front, makes me think of imperial stout. Some smokey thing slightly on the olfactory. AS expected, big and nasty like lion stout, wew. This style is over the top when its on style, heheh. Medicine black bitter thing on tongue. OH my, just as bad as any impy stout fer sure. I suppose there is allot of intersecting features between the two styles of baltic porter and imp stout. What do I know, I like pale lager and this is jsut too much for my girlie taste buds. Oil leaking roto tiller is dragging across my taste buds. Is this what used harley motor oil tastes like? GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - SEP 20, 2012

Dark brown pour. Smells of chocolate and malt. Taste is a bit of chocolate, toffee, dark fruit. Not bad, maybe not as defined of flavor profile but still enjoyable. jtclockwork (16857) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 18, 2012
Bottle. Pours black. Nose/taste of molasses, sweet chocolate, sherry, toasted bread, cherry and black malt. Very little roast, mostly sweet with a lighter than medium body. Short sherry finish.

Lots of chocolate in the nose and over all not too bad, but nothing special. A nice choice if you’re looking for a darker beer on a hotter day. reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Pours deep brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is slightly fruity and metallic. Flavor is roasty with dark fruit...faint licorice and metallic note. Mouthfeel is medium and lively with a roasty/fruity slightly metallic finish. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Bottle. Dark amber going in that looks like a much darker brown when poured into the glass in my poorly lit living room. No head, carbonation is low. Nose of black malt, lightly roasted, water, light moonpie, coffee but u have to search a bunch. Flavor is a messy collab of molasses, black patent malt, metal, finishing roasty, bloody, and slightly rubbery. Very dry and strange. sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 12, 2012
12oz bottle from Discount Liquor. Pours a dark brown color with an off white head. Aroma is chocolate, roasty, coffee. Medium on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, Malty, cereal, coffee, roasty, some dark fruit, with a light, malty finish. Not bad, but nothing special. cbfobes (2885) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours brown with a red hue in the light with a thin tan head, looks pretty thin, kind of like a coke or something, I was hoping it would be a little thicker, aroma is of slight chocolate and malt, not a ton really jumps out. The flavor has some roasted malt on the front end but is a little sweeter than I was expecting, some chocolate in the finish but seems a little weak. Not terrible, just not up to the Big Eddy standards I was hoping for.
