Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, bread, roasted, light raisin, light brown sugar, iron notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, brown sugar, raisin, prune, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of roastiness, dried fruit, licorice and light cocoa. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a medium beige head leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a bready malt and raisin. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet malt and chocolate with light dry finish. Easy to drink a good Baltic porter from Lienenkugels.

Medium body with a dry smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium dark sweet flavor with medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid complex beer.

A decent Baltic porter. Balanced, I would like a bit more bitterness edge but still a good drinkable porter. Dark coloured, fizzy disappearing head. Middling mouthfeel. Lots of chocolate.
