Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear light copper with a slight off-white head. Aroma is sort of cooked oatmeal with mixed floral/fruit hop. Med + body or better. Flavor is sort of cooked cereal with some heat and moderate floral/fruit hop. It is smooth. It is slick. The flavors aren’t really strong, but they are firm, and it’s rather amazing. "Toastier"? Maybe that’s part of it. Don’t dismiss this ale! djd07 (15077) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2017

Draft. Just a poor maerzen. Ultra sweet and sugary. No malt complexity. Pitiful for the style. slowrunner77 (12139) - Reno, Nevada, USA - NOV 13, 2014
This dark orange ale is thick and sweet leaning. Smells and tastes of caramel and bread and toffee, with a little more raisiny sweetness than usually in the style. Pretty enjoyable malt bomb. deyholla (11721) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 5, 2014
