RSRIZZO (2032) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUN 26, 2015
12oz can (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Kölsch glass at 40°. Color is bright gold with mellow carbonation and a thin tight white head. Aroma is faint and slightly sweet giving off a grain scent. It has a light body and crisp mouth feel. Flavor of lemon zest, rye and just a hint of hop spice. After taste is clean with a very mild bitterness showing. Overall it’s a well done Kölsch, but it just too light for my taste. Hiero (171) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Typical Kolsch-style. Similar to a pale lager. Mild, bitter bite in the middle. jmohno (1662) - Iowa, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Pours a pale light gold, cleqr, light to no head. Aroma is slight bready, light lemon, light caramel sweetness. Taste is distinct malt with lemon, light grass, slight sweetness, watery, mineral, seltzer mineral water,. Lemon finish. Pretty lagery with some dietyness and. Rye? Not really getting that. Meh, like all their stuff. Ok summer session. kdm1984 (814) - Missouri, USA - JUN 6, 2015
Sampled at the 2015 Joplin Pints ’n Paws Mac-Fest beerfest. Unremarkable, bland kolsch. Best thing I can say is it’s somewhat refreshing on a hot summer day. mjg74 (3184) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 30, 2015
Bottle from Fred Meyer. Medium golden in color. Grainy nose with a little malt. A little cardboard as well. Grains and malts up front. Moving into a little grassy hop flavor. A touch thin, but still pretty clean. Pretty tasty and refreshing.
GIJOE (1256) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - MAY 24, 2015
Pour is a light amber. Aroma is faint but sweet malt. Taste is balanced. Finish is crisp and clean. Average.

My first Kolsch beer.Maverick34 (3305) - New York, USA - MAY 20, 2015
Pours a straw color. Barely any head to speak of. What head it does have leaves pretty good lacing. I’m not impressed.
Smells great. It’s very bright. Very clean and citrusy. Oh, like spring! I don’t know exactly what it is about this, but it smells amazing.
Doesn’t taste as citrusy as it smells. Doesn’t really taste like a lager. But, it’s really good. It’s well balanced. Is it sweet, is it bitter? I can’t discern anything in particular, but again, it’s really good.
Mouthfeel is great. It’s very light, very drinkable. Almost like a wine cooler. Finishes maybe a tad bitter. Wow! It;s really really good.
Overall, if not for the poor showing in the pour, this could easily be one of the best beers I’ve ever had. It’s delicious. It’s fresh. It’s clean. It smells great. It finishes great! Not only do I want more of this, I want more of the style!
Bottled boring yellow. Skunk aroma plus the barest hints of rye. Meh. Nothing really good. Quick3Beers (1424) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 5, 2015
Pours a kind of piss color from a bottle, quick flash of effervescence with little retention or lacing. Aroma is barnyardy, flavor is the same with some biscuits thrown in, like someone just threw some biscuits into a barn, like, here you go barn. I’m a little drunk. Aggiebob (1302) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAY 4, 2015
Bottle: It has a straw yellow color with a white head and strong carbonation. The aroma is barnyard/Hay and the flavor is grain and slight bit of lemon. Very light body with a thin tongue feel. The finish is slightly dry.
