12 oz bottle from build-a-sixer. Pours a pale yellow with a creamy head. Has a nice Kolsch-y smell to it, with a bit of hard water and light, bready malts. Sits up on the tongue nicely, though it is hard to get excited about this style in the first place. It does have a light malt taste, plus a little spice from rye. Basic German hop bitterness. More of the nice stuff Leinie’s can make when they’re not up the wazoo with pink fruit weisses. Seems to have been packaged kind of early for a summer seasonal.
Agreed with many previous reviews. Its just bland and simple overall. for the price tag its not worth getting. leinies original is better. this is clean but that’s about it. jhijjawi (2) - - JUL 8, 2017 does not count
Not good at all for me................................................ via Beer Buddy for iPhone nickd717 (4701) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 3, 2017
Bottle pours clear golden with a small, fading white head. Aroma is bland, white bread, simple syrup, slight hay. Flavor is little but sweet pale malt. Light, crisp but meh city. Might as well have come from Meh-xico. This be gahhb BeerInHeaven (454) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 26, 2017
pours a lightly cloudy straw gold with a decent medium white head. Pretty good head retention. Aroma of hay, grass, maybe a hint of spice. The taste is clean with just a hint of spiciness. I can taste the faint hints of rye. Quick finish. Clean and refreshing. I can pound quite a few of these on a hot summer day. jrodooo5 (1680) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - MAY 13, 2017
Plain! Nothing offensive going on here but absolutely boring! Average pour, weak aroma, & bland taste which is pretty typical of the style. Not good!

Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Light Aromas of hops. Light crisp taste with a clean finish. No lacing in the glass. Thin mouth feel. Not bad but nothing special. Obfuscate (575) - Minneapolis, - APR 25, 2017
OMG this doesn’t taste like an IPA or Imperial Stout. Therefore it’s lacks flavor. Sometimes you drink a beer simply because it is crisp and refreshing. This is good for that. raymow (1671) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2017
bottled - clear yellow in color. Light, crisp and refreshing but also nothing special. A good summer afternoon beer. JPDIPSO (6236) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 3, 2017
Straw color with a diminished white head. Scents are muted, with some floral and flour scents. Some light honey and simple sugar aromas as well. Grain and pale malt start. A bit of bitterness and spice noted from the rye. A bit acidic/metallic. A lawn mower/canoe paddling brew at best. 2/13

Clear, medium gold, thin white head. Malty but bright. Balanced tastes, a tiny bit heavy for a kolsch. Not picking up much spiciness from the rye. Good, but nothing that really stands out.
