UPDATED: NOV 5, 2017 Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aromas of malt and citrus. Decent beer with a lime in it. Light palate. Clean finish. kcmoon2s (2) - - AUG 5, 2017 does not count
One of the best golden-hued traditional Weiss beers. Garnish with a lemon for added citrus aroma to perfectly compliment the sweet subtle flavors. Only drawback - not available in North Carolina!!

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Big bubbly white head. Crisp lemony malt nose. Refreshing citrus malt flavor hints at lemon peel and apple. Brief dry finish. Carlisle (815) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2017
Draft. Pours light gold color with white head that dissipates quickly and lacing. Light malt with honey notes and some mild bitterness in the finish. Not much of a wheat beer.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 12/5/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of honey, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of lemon, banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of honey, pale malt, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste honey, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of lemon, banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light banana/clove, and herbal yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of honey, pale malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately creamy/grainy mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a nice pale wheat ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of honey, pale malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering. Bottle. Clear golden yellow with an average white head. Fair lacing. Aroma is wheat, stale bread, and honey. Kind of skunky. Taste is wheat, sour malt, stale bread, tin, and a faint glimpse of honey. Watery and thin. Meh. BeerRenter76 (1041) - Texas, USA - MAR 19, 2016
Originally rated on 6/8/08. My first beer out of a four variety sampler case. It looked flat with its rapidly disappearing head and minimal carbonation, very little lacing was left. The aroma was of honey and malt. It was watery and the flavor was not good. in its defense this one was served a little too soon and it wasnt adequately cooled. I think i got a bad one.
