Not sure why this is in a winter pack... More of a spring or fall beer IMO. Tastes like Sunset Wheat mixed with more fruit juice. Way too sweet. jhbeer (43) - - DEC 9, 2012
Hazy orangish yellow. Foamy white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Zesty, lemony scent. Sour sweet up front, fades into a bit of tanginesa, but not real hop presence to speak of. Fizzy, light on the palate. Refreshing and good for hot days, but there’s a lot more lemon than beer. dp (608) - uniontown, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2012
citrus, fruit, particles of berry settle on the bottom, light sweetness, lightly sour, did not expect much and was pleasantly surprised by taste, light body, lively, not sure why it was included in a winter pack, cranberry? Pierresauce (19) - - DEC 8, 2012
It’s not as awful as its Summer Shandy cousin, but it still isn’t great. If the citrus flavor of the Summer Shandy is all that puts you off of it then you may actually enjoy this one. The "berry" flavor overpowers the overall garbage quality of their Summer Shandy, which is, I’m assuming, why its current rating is so much higher than the non-berry version. Decent as a summer beverage, absolute crap as a beer. nearbeer (5452) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 5, 2012
On tap. Light haze on the golden body with a small ring of bubbles. Nose is faux berry and lemon, with some whiffs of factory-cracked grain. Taste is the same with maybe a hint of dry grass and honey. Light body has medium carbonation and is sweet. This one is pretty much what an informed beer consumer should expect when purchasing an industrial brew, and the shandy part seems to be totally a matter of having a liking for the style or not. Personally I’ve never had a shandy I liked very well, but if I was on the beach in Jamaica with the choice between this and a BMC, I’d probably choose this one until it got so sweet that I vomited. Then I’d switch to a BMC until I vomited.

This was just not my thing. The nose is intensely lemony and blackberry packed. The beer is a pale pinkish with a fizzy white cap. Sweet with tart lemon notes. The berry additions giving the feeling of an off flavor like hairspray. Light and crisp with a tart finish. cheap (5888) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 1, 2012
While shopping at Giant Eagle market district I had a 2-3 oz sample of this from a littel kiosk. Decently fresh taste, does have that typical shandy feel to it and the berries are ever present. Not too bad over all and I found it quite refreshing. there was a little bitterness on the finish but nothing over the top. Foxbush (2039) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - NOV 22, 2012
12 oz bottle This was shared at Thanksgiving 2012. The shandy poured a pinkish color with small head and lacing. The fruit beers are my least favorite style. It must be popular there seems to plenty to try. There was tart lemon and some berry. The sweetness of the fruit over powered any malt or beer like flavors. Carbonation was soft. johnnyoski (445) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - NOV 20, 2012
Semi hazy pink pour with a white head. Sweet berry aroma with faint hints of lemon. Tastes like it smells...dominant sweet berries initially with a light lingering lemon flavor. Watery texture with average carbonation. About what you would expect based on the label. A little too sweet, but it is drinkable. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 17, 2012
The aroma has lemon berry candy with adjunct malts. The appearance is hazy pink-gold with a medium head that leaves nice lace. The taste is macro lager with artificial fruit flavor. The palate is thin. Overall almost not worth a try.
