A: Hazy Pinkish Hue, Passes Some Light, Thin White Head Ring, Very Minimal Lacing
T: Faux Lemon, Skittles
M: Poor Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Semi Sweet, Watery
Overall, its like drinking watery liquid skittles...fucking gross. polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Bottle. Aroma has notes of wine cooler sweetness, berries and citrus. Average white head and a medium amber hue. Flavor is very sweet and lightly bitter and medium tart. Palate is light bodied and watery with average carbonation. Overall a typical girlie beer that’s meant for casual pool-side drinking by ladies. DATE REVIEWED: August 28, 2014... GLASSWARE: Hoegaarden tumbler... OCCASION: preseason Manziel being Johnny, for better and worse... APPEARANCE: peachy, fuzzy, hazy body; equally fuzzy off-white head; smears unevenly... AROMA:syrupy tart raspberry scents; elicits a sweettart mouthwatering reaction; an unnatural scent for a beer?.. PALATE: lightly fizzy, effervescent champagne-like exit--a soda-like gassiness--creamy late in the glass... TASTE: at first, a teasing of sugary, caramelized feint; some peppermint mixes with the medicinal berry; reminiscent of a Captain Morgan and ginger ale ...OVERALL: another fruity offering from Leinie--and though many of these become repetitious, in this case, the lemon berry is easy drinking, slightly tart and not a bad companion on a warm August night...

Hazy orangish. Lots of lemon on the nose. Ok, as a Leinies fan...this is simply a combo of Berry Weis and Summer Shandy. So to break it down...Lemony sweet and wheat. A decent summer ale but too sweet for too many. LetsGoState (904) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 18, 2012
Aroma is a sweet and fruity malt. Taste is some berry with a background of lemon. Overall just not enough there.

Pours a watered-down-tomato-juice orange with a nose of stark and sweet raspberry and lemon syrup. Flavor is lemony berries and sugary hay. Watery mouthfeel. Wasn’t horrible, but one is enough.
Pours a hazy peach color with a white ring. Aroma of a strawberry lemon drop. Very fruity on the palate and the nose. Citrus and berry flavors. Subtle hints of wheat. Very light and sort of watery. Does not taste like beer, tastes like a watered down mixed drink made with ginger ale. I guess it would be good on a hot day at the lake. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 23, 2012
Bottled. Poured an unappealing shade of hazy pink with a dense, well-retained off-white head. The aroma picked up lemon rind, salt, and blackberries over a weak base of earthy wheat.. some artificial sweetener character.. smelled like it was going to be refreshing. The flavor found watery wheat at the core with sweet lemon-lime juice, tart blackberry seeds, and salt throughout.. refreshing, fairly sweet finish. Light-bodied with moderate, spritzy carbonation on the palate.. not beery, but overall refreshing and very drinkable. PorterPounder (8230) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine and Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy medium orange with a nice soft white head that leaves bit of lacing. Berry-like aroma is very faint and somewhat artificial. Flavor has some blackberry accents, a touch of lemon sourness, some yeasty notes, some biscuity maltiness. Mouthfeel is slightly pasty. I am a fan of Summer Shandy, but not Berry Weiss. This is basically a mix of this two beers from Leinenkugel. As a result, this is tough one for me to rate. I want to really like it, but I just find it too sweet. It would be an OK summer beer, but I think I will stick with Summer Shandy when I am in the mood for this style of beer.
