2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. sometimes I have a taste for leinie’s and the light does the trick. if my memory is correct it is similar in taste to the original. for a light it does have more flavor than most american macros. the price is pretty good too.
Taste and aroma is faint malts, rather watery and a beery finish. Only a very slight off note in it, otherwise it was as expected in not being very much to it. ozzy70 (1283) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 26, 2016
Tap at the Leinie Lodge on 7-22-16. Poured clear golden, white head. Aroma was light grain, corn. Taste was sweeter, corn, watered down flavor. edgallow (4560) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 28, 2015
12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, malts and grass. Taste is grains and grass. BrewHaMeister (456) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 17, 2014
12 oz bottle pours clear copper with quickly dissipating white head. Aromas of corn, malt, dough. Not bad on an 85 degree day with limited choices. #RockfestCadottWI TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 5, 2014
Pretty much an actual tasty light lager style beer. Cereal grain is mainly what is on the nose and palate.

I am reviewing this from notes. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - APR 18, 2014
I poured this into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a light golden yellow transparent color with a nice half fingered white foamy head that quickly died to a film to coat the top of the glass. There wasn’t any lacing at all.
The smell was mostly a sweet malty and kinda corny/ricey adjunct-like sweetness.
The taste was kinda sweet but honestly there really wasn’t much there as there wasn’t any aftertaste nor finish.
On my palate, it sat very light on the body with a nice sessionable quality running about my mouth and tongue. The carbonation seemed not very harsh at all, but still for the most part, as the style suggests, everything seems to be ok with that.
Overall, hey - uh....not bad at all. When one looks at the style and what Leinenkugel wanted to do with this one, one can’t argue. Take it as it is.
Can. Ok, I know that this is "just a beer", but it is really good for a macro light beer. Some grains and corn. Nice simple hop balances, but lets this beer be what it is. Chuggable. Lawnmower beer. Simple and refreshing. This is pretty fantastic in its style. Doesn’t have a thin boring palate. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - OCT 15, 2013
Bottle. From notes. Corn and grain for most of the flavor. Nothing too special going on here, but probably one of the best "light" beers I’ve had. Lemke10 (996) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 15, 2013
This pours a pale yellow hue with a foamy white head. The aroma is light with grain and yeast. The taste is thin, watery, and grainy. For being a “light beer” at least this has some decent flavor to it. Drink very easy leaving a lingering grain taste. Considering the price, this would be a better option than Miller Lite or Bud Light. Lamacah (7) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 9, 2013 does not count
Light golden color. Easy to drink. Nothing special. What you’d expect from a light beer.
