I’m rating this beer THIS high because of what it is. This is a light beer. No light beer can be GREAT but out of all the light beers, this one is the best. Fantastic! jaysoneslick (24) - Montana, USA - MAY 2, 2004
best light beer i ever had, i guess you need the hair of the dog after a heavy night of drinking at the titletown brewery in GREEN BAY WISCONSIN FOR THE PACKERS - BRONCOS GAME!!!! beeatch.... ninobrown (16) - USA - MAR 6, 2006
Pretty solid macro light. Pale gold color. Fairly prominent odor for a macro light. Light sweet malt well balanced with very light lemony hops. More flavor than most in category. Gusler (2652) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - OCT 26, 2000
Clena and crisp, very refreshing.I'm just not a lite type person, but recommend it highly if you are. Fair malts and hops as one would expect, very drinkable. Beerlover1982 (78) - Lacrosse, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 3, 2003
I really like this beer. It has a good aroma and the taste is remarkable for a light beer.

Can. Ok, I know that this is "just a beer", but it is really good for a macro light beer. Some grains and corn. Nice simple hop balances, but lets this beer be what it is. Chuggable. Lawnmower beer. Simple and refreshing. This is pretty fantastic in its style. Doesn’t have a thin boring palate. bipolar1 (268) - Hancock, Michigan, USA - MAR 1, 2001
A great summer beer for the light beer fan.................................. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAY 19, 2014
I am reviewing this from notes. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 5, 2014
I poured this into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a light golden yellow transparent color with a nice half fingered white foamy head that quickly died to a film to coat the top of the glass. There wasn’t any lacing at all.
The smell was mostly a sweet malty and kinda corny/ricey adjunct-like sweetness.
The taste was kinda sweet but honestly there really wasn’t much there as there wasn’t any aftertaste nor finish.
On my palate, it sat very light on the body with a nice sessionable quality running about my mouth and tongue. The carbonation seemed not very harsh at all, but still for the most part, as the style suggests, everything seems to be ok with that.
Overall, hey - uh....not bad at all. When one looks at the style and what Leinenkugel wanted to do with this one, one can’t argue. Take it as it is.
Pretty much an actual tasty light lager style beer. Cereal grain is mainly what is on the nose and palate.
