COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

12oz bottle. Orange-brown colored, filtered and transparent. Pretty decent Oktoberfest, would do better in a blind tasting, but being SAB is gonna open you up to some harsh criticism, perhaps justifiably so. The flavor profile is alright for the style, but the beer just fades on you into a watery finish. Crisp mild balancing hops hold the beer together. Not great, but certainly not bad either.

12 oz. bottle served in shaker- Ahhh, autumn... the beginning of cooler nights, hunting, Brett Farve chucking the ball for the Pack- ERRR-Brett’s gone, but at least it’s still time for Leinie and beer brats! Poured transparent light copper, huge 3 finger frothy head off white in color formed and slowly crept away. Aroma consisting of light notes of caramel, molasses, and leaves. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is omnipresent, holds up well in the middle, a few zesty hops on the finish. Great for screaming and throwing at the TV as Rodgers throws interception after interception this season... GO PACK GO!!!

Bottle, concentrated, golden color, with a beautiful, creamy beige foam. I can actually taste a caramel-like flavor, however, it is light and kinda watery to taste.

Not much aroma. Pours an orange amber color. Looks okay. The consistency is just too too thin. There’s barely any body whatsoever. It hints at being an oktoberfest. There’s notes of a better beer in there somewhere, but there’s just not enough to it for it to be considered GOOD. As far as what LK distributes in this area (central MA), steer clear of any LK product that isn’t Sunset Wheat.

Bottle--Definately one of the poorer Oktoberfests out there, kinda wish I would have picked up a single instead of the full six pack. It looks like an Oktoberfest, smells like an Oktoberfest and tastes like an Oktoberfest, but just not well done. The beer is very watery which drags down all the scores. Produce place

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2009 (USA) Pours a med amber color with a small dissipating white head. Aroma is of caramel, malts, and toffee. Taste of sweet malts, caramel, and a tiny hint of spices. The mouthfeel is kind of watery and thin but finishes with a slighty dry palate. This is very drinkable, but not the best kind of Oktoberfest brew.

This reminded me of what i thought a good beer was when i was in college, when buying a variety 12 pack of some low quality micro was good beer. I also had flashes of when i though Michelob Amber Bock was good also. It is drinkable, not too sweet, but not much going on.

This is one of the low end octoberfests I’ve had. The mouthfeel is pretty watery. Not much flavor.

Aroma is of malt and barley with a slight hint of citrus and... molasses? Amber in color with thin head. Flavor is barley.. ish... maybe some molasses... I need to stop eating baked potatoes before I rate beer.... Overall not bad.. thin palate.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2008 The aroma is malty with light caramel and toffee. There is also paper, and resin hops but they are light. The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma with a watered down taste. The palate is somewhat thin. Overall it’s OK but tastes Macro.
