1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Poured into a tulip glass. Fairly light amber color, finger of head that was quickly gone to nothing.
Smells like wet hay that did not quite make it into the barn before the rain and was then left out in the sun for a couple days. I am familiar with the smell but not from my beer.
Kind of tastes like a adjunct lager with an extra dash of barley. So if this was an adjunct lager it would have incredible flavor... but it is not. It is lacking in the maltiness of a Marzen.
It has a light body and is very carbonated.
Overall a poor attempt of the great Marzen style. Drink it if you want a more flavorful adjunct lager with a high level of carbonation.
Rated from memory last october. All i remember is that this stuff was cheap and very light. i wasnt a huge fan of it. but dang u could pound these if u wanted kevinator (2205) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2017

Bottle shared at a Farewell to Bugrashov tasting at Stas’. Thanks Vova. Clear piss gold. Sweet malty aroma, spoiled bread. Bitter and oxidized taste. Light body, well-carbonated, sweet and oxidized finish. unclefrito62 (277) - Stow, Ohio, USA - DEC 17, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Not much of a aroma. Does smell a little sweet. Deep straw in color. Very smooth on the palate. I like the malt in this beer. Overall one of my more favorite octoberfest’s. Kleg (257) - The Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 16, 2016
Clear dark bronze pour with a khaki bead and fair retention. Decent lacing. Taste is malty and sweet with a good caramel flavor. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Excellent American style Oktoberfest!

From the bottle. Weak aroma. Polished copper color with minimal head. Good carbonation. Light malt flavor that is quickly overcome by hops. Somewhat thin mouthfeel but no lingering aftertaste. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 3, 2016
Bottle sample at the "Farewell to Vova Shack" tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks Stas. Deep golden. Aroma of malt, oxidized, cardboard, metal, a bit of caramel. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, a bit of oxidation, metal, and a slightly bitterish finish. Light-bodied. Ratman197 (14838) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 20, 2016

Can on Southwest flight ECP-HOU for Thanksgiving in Dallas. Middle of the road fest beer. Sweeter malt with light bitterness. It gets a little more flavorful as it warms. Okay. ozzy70 (1148) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 16, 2016
