Sampled at the 2013 Artisans Craft Beer Festival. It poured a cloudy golden color with a beige head. The aroma was of orange juice and lemons with an earthy wheat backing. The taste was of grainy orange peel, wheat and a bit of grapefruit. Good grass cutting beer.

Leinenkugel’s Orange Shandy has a thick, creamy, white head, an opaque, milky, yellow-gold appearance, and some lacing left behind. The aroma is of a strong orange smell, with citrus acidity, orange peel, and white bread. Taste is of orange, a peppery zest, citric acid, a touch of honey, white wheat bread, white bread crust, sugar, and a slightest bitterness. Mouthfeel is heavy and a bit gritty, and Leinenkugel’s Orange Shandy finishes semi-dry, sweet, refreshing, and very easy going. Overall, for a flavored concoction, it’s alright. RJT

Aroma is orange/orange zest, a hint of lemons and a small hint of hops. The flavor is orange, orange zest, general citrus, malts and a hint of bitterness in the finish. Good for what it was, a good thirst quencher.

Yellow cloudy pour with a white head. It had a sweet orange aroma. Taste is orange, light carbonation. Sampled at supermarket.

Bottle. Super cloudy yellow. White head. Big tangerine orange aroma. Lemon and lime as well. Taste is tart and sweet. Finish is short and sweet. Light body. Average carbonation

From 12oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a cloudy dull orange with very fizzy white head. Nose is do instead by orange, some wheat. Taste is sweet, very light body. Heavy carbonation, almost champagne like. Ok beer, obviously trying to continue the success of their ultra popular summer shandy.

Hazy amber orange with strong orange citrus oil smell. Wheat beer with orange juice is my first impression. Not bad but not great either.

9/8/13. 12oz bottle from Exit 18. Strong orange oil aroma, reminds a touch of Sunset Wheat. Big orange flavor, orange oil, peel, Jell-O, etc. Meh.

12 oz can. Smells like orange candy. I want to say artificial orange, but who knows? I also get the wheat. Pours cloudy orange with a long-sustaining creamy white head; leaves some lace. Taste is sweet and sour, finishing dry. Really orangey and wheaty in flavor. Mouthfeel creamy, body thin. It’s nothing terrible, but not much substance here.

3.2
Lemke10 (995) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 4, 2013
This pours a cloudy, yellow/orange color with a slight, white head. The aroma has wheat mixed with orange zest. The flavor is pretty much what you would expect, an orange version of Summer Shandy. The texture is a little too thin and the flavor doesn’t exactly wow me either. I do like oranges more than lemons though if I had to choose. However Buffalo Bill’s Orange Cream is still a better option if they still have it in your area.
