I guess this gets what it’s going for but what it’s going for is stupid. It tastes like High Life mixed with a little orange soda and looks like slightly orange mud. Texture is kind nice, juicy and witbier-like, but that’s about all the good I have to say about this. Flavor is watery with a bunch of artificial orange with only a touch of acidity to remind you it’s beer. It doesn’t taste horrible but that doesn’t make it a good beer.

Big thanks to Reggie for this wonderful throw itn, no. seriously! At first I wasn’t sure of this but once open and started drinken, it really grew on me. Look of a slight orange tint to a rather hazy cloudy brew. Smell of orange sherbit push up. Taste is rather mild beer. Easy & friendly. Not bad. Good overall fizz makes this quite interesting. Yes, pretty good. Has just the right amount of sweetness to the orange to keep it lively. Well done fruit beer, JMHO. Could easily drink a few of these - and like it.

From a bottle to a shaker. Hazy golden orange with decent head. Aroma reminds me of a Fanta or an Orange Crush, it does taste like an orange soda with a bit of malt backbone revealing that is is a beer in disguise... Refreshing.

bottle - It pours the color of a pale pineapple juice and has a small quickly fading head. The aroma is like orange soda. Thin and light bodied, it has a sweet orange flavor. Drinkable.

Nice flavor and aroma, it's a summer beer at the European style of Lambic beers. The rating in here is all wrong, as this is listed as fruit beer, with low alcohol, perfect for lunch and the beach. If you are thirsty, this one will quench your thirst! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Erzengel (8626) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 15, 2014
The beer starts smooth and orange-refreshing. But the aroma is fast gone. The Mainpart is nearly neutral, so the aftertaste. Slightly sweet and orange, but nearly no aroma. The aftertaste is nearly not there. --> Very poor ending. --> 7/12/7/7

Bottle - hazy dark straw color, average size foamy head, definite orange aroma and flavor, mild sweet wheat backbone, very carbonated - would be great for a hot summer day ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At $9.98 for a case of bottles, best beer ever as long as a shot of quality bourbon is added to offset the Orange Fanta flavor.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Pours translucent golden with small white head. Citrus aroma (mostly orange), medium body, low carbonation, and some small bubble lacing. Taste is rich sweet slightly medicinal citrus (mostly orange).

DISCOUNT BIN BEER! 12 oz can into a glass. A: Pours a hazy orange juice color. The head is shockingly good; it’s about two fingers high, with an eggshell shade. It’s texture is amazingly thick and creamy, and retains very well. I’ll go easy on the score here, because I imagine this is what one of those fabled Hill Farmstead IPAs look like. S: Ever know what those little sliced orange candies smell like? Pretty much this. It smells mostly like artificial orange sweetness with a (very minute) side of beer. Very little about this aroma is appealing in any way. T: The flavors are slightly more beer-y, but not enough to redeem it. Way, way, WAY too much of that artificial orange flavoring comes through to start...and to finish for that matter. It’s a shitty orange soda mixed with a mediocre macro lager. Enough said. M: Well...um...it’s light and kind of sweet. The sweetness lingers on the tongue unpleasantly, and it’s just a chore to drink. O: Tickers gonna tick, amirite?
