Aroma: Fruity and vinous, like an asti. On the sweet side, with a crossbreeze of citric hops. Refreshing and clean, but does have some heft to it. Appearance: Bold, bright sunset-orange; the whole beer glows even in dim light. Audibly excited bubbles race upwards into a big mishmash of a bone-colored head. Speckled lacing all the way down. Good retention. Flavor: Moderated toasty malt character, on the earthy side of fruitiness. Overall, reminds me of wheat toast with apple butter. Sweetness is offset by leafy and citric hops. Finish is a skirmish between malts and hops, with malts the ultimate victor. Palate: Very creamy, although slightly flat. Overall: Very, very drinkable, an excellent session beer. There are better Vienna lagers out there, but this is always reliable, cheap, and easy to find. People don’t give Leinie’s enough credit.

Pours a reddish copper color. Three fingers cream/khaki head. Very clear Very light lacing. Good retention.

Aroma is bready, caramel, toffee and light floral hops. Malt forward beer. Reminds me of an Oktoberfest.

Taste is sweet. Light bitterness on the swallow. Perhaps a touch metallic that comes in as it warms. Not a lot too the taste.

Mouthfeel is light bodied. Soft. A little slickness on the swallow. Mellow.

Overall, it was okay at best. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, and that’s what I got. It’s not something I would buy again, and not something I would recommend. It is tempting though, but it if you must.

This beer is ok for a red. Great appearance but the taste is a little lacking. I do enjoy the subtle combination of sweet and hop ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear amberish copper under a spotty white fizzy head. Smooth lightly sweet amber malty nose. Crisp clean light flavor that’s vaguely amberish. Light and lagery. Super boring.

From old tasting notes. Amber red color. Thick creamy beige head. Fragrant sweet malt nose. Zesty toasted malt flavor hints at brown sugar and burnt caramel. Dryish hop finish is brief and crisp.

On tap at brewery. Slightly toasty aroma, clean and with very low noble hops. Clear dark amber under white wisps. Clean, light flavour with some lightly toasted nuts and moderate bitterness and a light, zesty hops note. Crisp and light body, medium carbonation.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 4/4/2016. Pours crystal clear reddish copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Muted aromas of brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Has a metallic note in the nose at first, that diminishes in the glass over time. Okay aromas with balanced bready malt and earthy hop notes; with very poor strength. Taste of brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from carbonation and bitterness as well. Fairly clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a pretty solid Vienna lager. A bit weak/off in the aromas; but has some good robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; and is very smooth and easy to drink. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Drank from bottle..not much on the flavor side..needs more malt and some hops would be nice...will not drink this again.

Draft. Pours reddish-copper with beige head and substantial lacing. Sweet caramel malt aroma with subtle cherry note. Caramel with corn sweetness. Thin mouthfeel but a sweet long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
