12oz bottle from Crossroads Spirits. Pour a thin clear dark brown color with a small fast fading foamy khaki head. Aroma of roasted coffee, dark cocoa, ash, but not getting any vanilla in the aroma. Taste of burnt coffee, bitter dark chocolate, ash, and a hint of vanilla extract in the aftertaste. coyforce (684) - California, USA - JAN 15, 2014
Nice tasty Porter. Pour is black with no head. Delicious flavor of light roasted malt. Palidor19 (3194) - Brandon, Florida, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Only a mild rep to what a Xmas porter should taste like. Mild malts with a bland finish. Slight bits of vanilla and wood are in a secondary taste

Light caramel with a slight floral scent. Alcohol smell present.
Dark reddish brown, but clear pour with minimal head that disappeared quickly.
A medium body, lightly bitter. Soft carbonation.
I can’t taste the vanilla but overall a nice flavoured beer.

On tap in a shaker. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of light dark malts, light chocolate, vanilla, and dough. Flavor the same, like a watered down porter. Average texture. Not great.

Not bad. Vanilla in the aroma doesn’t mix as well as it does in the taste. Sweetness at first made me think of a baltic porter, but roast grains( and bitterness) are present under the vanilla. Slight bitterness on the palate, and overall mouthfeel is just a touch on the watery side. Otherwise, better than I expected. jbuzz (841) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Nice dark color and average head. Vanilla is not overly sweet some Carmel sand toasted hints. polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Bottle. Aroma has notes of vanilla, chocolate, caramel, floral hops. Very dark brown that sits black in the glass. Average off-white head. Flavor is heavy sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied and watery with average carbonation. Overall an average porter which is better than what I expected. o_Merlin_o (235) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Couldn't see the color, as it went straight from the bottle to my gullet. Definite aroma of vanilla beans and caramel. Quite aqueous taste which doesn't match the expected aroma. Would have expected it to have more body - like an imperial stout.

From bottle in a pint glass. Pours dark grown with two finger head. Nose is roasted barley and vanilla. Body is medium to light for a porter. Taste is sweet with a little too much vanilla for my taste, not as balanced as I would like. One dimensional beer.
