Pours dark mahogany brown with a small brown head. Smells mildly of roast and vanilla. Taste is mild sweetness, hints of roast, and kinda like soda. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Leinenkugel’s Snowdrift Vanilla Porter finishes with a cloying sweetness. drdisque (899) - Illinois, USA - DEC 16, 2013
From a bottle. Slightly spicy watery and bland porter with a touch of vanilla. Very light mouthfeel. Not offensive but forgettable. EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Yes this beer is big on vanilla and short on hops. However, it works for me. Nice dark pour with an off white head. Is p ethos a bit sweet, which is mostly what people complain about. This is a seasonal beer, and I look forward to it every winter. A good porter. jstonerock24 (142) - Englewood, Ohio, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Very sweet flavor. Vanilla stands out really well but is a little over powering. Doesn’t drink like a porter more like a lighter beer yet rather refreshing. wmflynn (15) - Northumberland, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2013
6-pack of bottles in St. Louis, MO. Pours black, with an off-cream, 1-inch head. Nice velvet mouthfeel. Vanilla works well. However, it finishes flat, and slightly watery, just as other reviewers have pointed out. This beer needs more hops. The flavour is not very complex or very satisfying. A slightly above average porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

After doing the MountainZilla trail run the radio crew stopped in at Chubby’s in Alton and I was pleasantly surprised to find this. I got the last half pint as the keg ran dry. This beer poured quite dark and had a creamy layer. The aroma was vanilla and was pronounced. That was also tasted and later cocoa. This tended to be a sweet beer and the feel was somewhat creamy. greenhorn1 (850) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - DEC 13, 2013
Bottle. Pours a nice dark brown. Not much nose. Very watered down, but I like the vanilla. Other than that not much going on here. KY_Beerhead (22) - - DEC 13, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2013 This is a PINO: Porter In Name Only.
I’m a fan of Porters and realize that enjoying a good Porter is an "acquired taste", but what a disappointment. It was only after buying this that I discovered that Leinenkugel is only a front for Miller SAB’s futile attempt to pretend they can be a Craft Brewery.
Appearance looked OK, but it went downhill from there. Watery with a Kool Aid aroma. Tastes like something that Robitussin would make if they owned a brewery.
Mix up some Milwaukee’s Best with your leftover coffee from this morning. It would be cheaper. rougeau13 (3276) - Richmond, Texas, USA - DEC 13, 2013
Clear dark brown with beige head. Aroma of fruity pebbles, vanilla and roast. Taste is fruity pebbles sweetness with some roasty bitterness. Pretty thin. This is not good. NIZZLE (1) - Michigan, USA - DEC 12, 2013 does not count
I like it better out of a can dose that make my crazy? One of leinenkygels better beers.
