Nice sweet aroma. Smooth coffee flavors in the taste with vanilla and sweetness coming through. Tastes overly processed......wish Leinie wasn't bought out....

Bottle. Pours a transparent red-brown with a light, fine-grained cream head -- looks for all the world like root beer. Mild nose is vanilla, coffee, cocoa, smoke; what there is of it, that is. Light and sweet; mostly vanilla and mild coffee, with a touch of baking chocolate. Mouthfeel is very smooth despite the weakness of the body. It’s all right, but it doesn’t stand out from the crowd of mediocrity. MacBoost (1898) - Victor, New York, USA - NOV 29, 2013
I like ths a bunch. Poured a thin dark brown, almost black with a small light tan head. Aromas of vanilla and chocolate sundae. Taste is milkshake like powdery and porter. Finishes with a marshmallow kick. Good. Metalchopz (3391) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 28, 2013
Purchased at Albertsons in Vegas. Looks like cola with its clean brown colour. The head is fizzy, but stops halfway to create a thick beige coat, but not much lace. The vanilla is super light in this one. Mild chocolate and fruity malts aromas. Wet, almost creamy mouthfeel, but not. Again, a little chocolate in the taste, with just a tad of vanilla in the aftertaste. Goes down well, but laking character. Especially vanilla. roxtersoxter (358) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Pours very dark brown with very small tan head out if bottle. Aroma of cocoa and vanilla. Dark roasted flavor with hint of vanilla. Good beer but was hoping for more flavor.

Dark brown black poured from a bottle. Chocolate taste. Very good relaxing beer. Highly recommended. jrodooo5 (1672) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Surprisingly tasty! Velvety smooth on the palate w/ very good chocolate aroma that draws you in. The pour is a average - dark brown w/ a thin tan head that leaves little lacing. The taste is dominated by the chocolate but it works & is quite a good beer! kidmartinek (5000) - austin, Texas, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Black with no head, foam, or lace. Light consistency. Vanilla bean and roasted malt aroma. The bote is strong. The flavor is pretty much all vanilla with light toasty malt and chocolate undertones. Damn fine at Dogwoods after doggin’ around the park and city all day! Slubgob (329) - West Hartford, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Drank from the bottle. Vanilla in the nose masks a hint of porter roast. The flavor is a bit flat, but it warms takes a dimensional milk chocolate note. There’s not a lot of roast or cacao notes like I associate with porter. Vanilla lends s fair bit of sweetness. The finish has a slightly unpleasant cardboard taste at first when cold, then gets just s bit sweet when warmer. Braudog (6717) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours, looks and smells like a porter. There’s a definite vanilla essence in the aroma, and an evenly tilted vanilla swirl in the flavor, too. Not bad. (#5339, 11/23/2013)
