Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a really interesting vanilla bean aroma with malt mixed into the smell.
Appearance- Has a great reddish tint with a very small white head.
Taste- You can taste the vanilla and malt, I really enjoyed it.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with light carbonation. It had an oily texture and didn’t have an aftertaste.
Overall- An interesting beer, I liked it. I don’t think I could sit and pound them one after another but it has a really good unique flavor.

Can into a pint glass. Pours a clear reddish brown, with a medium khaki head. Nose is faint aroma of malt and vanilla, and the taste follows the nose. Rather thin mouth feel, and not as flavorful as the nose would lead you to expect.

Bottle. Clear red brown beer with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, vanilla, chocolate and milk. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel, vanilla, chocolate biscuits and dried fruit. Sweet and slightly unbalanced.

12 oz. bottle. Darker brown / almost black color. Aroma is pure vanilla extract and light chocolate notes. The body is thin even for Porter standards. Vanilla extract though the sip without much else backing it up. Light cocoa powder, carbonation needs to be tuned down, touch to fizzy. Drinkable not overly sweet but not much to it.

pours an opaque cola brown with a thick frothy tan head. Great lacing. Aroma is very malty. Taste is clean with sweet malt with a hint of vanilla. Long lingering sweet finish with just a hint of bitter coming in on the very end. My favorite thus far from Leiny’s.

A nice beer but has a medicine type ending. Good vanilla aroma. Nice head. Balanced a bit thin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black pour. Has roasty aroma with a vanilla extract artificially aroma. Taste about the same. It's fine, slightly wintery. Big sweet.

I love this porter. One of my recent favorites. So sad it’s only seasonal. Very smooth, not too much vanilla. Sweet and not too hoppy.

Pours a very dark brown color with a reddish tint to it. The head starts off full and dissipates to a nice fine layer of foam that also forms a defined ring in my glass. The aroma is of semi sweet malted grains and a noticeable vanilla aroma. As for flavor I tasted sweet malts with subtle roasted quality. There was also flavors of mild bitter chocolate. The vanilla in the aroma translated in the flavor too. Overall the blending of the ingredients were done rather nicely and to me the beverage was rather thin and not very full in body. Making the snow drift flavorful, very drinkable, and kind to one?s palate.
