Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours ruddy dark brown with a creamy/foamy light tan head. Fairly faint chocolate and vanilla aromas. Arguably medium body. There’s smooth burnt malt, and some chocolate, and a heavy dose of vanilla which dominates the not quite dry finish. Drinkable. Velvety? Arguable. It is smooth. Bottle. Poured dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted sweet malt and soft vanilla aroma. Medium body with a creamy texture and flat carbonation. Medium toasted vanilla sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met.

12 ounce bottle from a Kroger. Pours a clear dark red color with a medium sized frothy brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, roasted malts and faint hops. The taste is big chocolate and vanilla notes, roasted malts, faint coffee, caramel and a mild bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, fairly drinkable.

Thin mouthfeel. Almost vanilla minty aroma. Doesn’t taste natural, if it is aged on real vanilla beans there is also vanilla added. And i doubt it is aged on vanilla beans. "Very disappointing aroma...little roast and even less vanilla. A little dusty. Look is ok, nice ruby tinged dark brown color. A little thin on the feel, and a little prickly. The flavor is more vanilla and roast, but slightly artificial. The aroma eventually opens but is the same. Let down."

Bottle. Light vanilla and chocolate malt aroma. Dark chestnut brown with large tan head. Mild chocolate malt flavor with a hint of herbal bitterness. Pleasant enough - just extremely light.
