bottle. Poured almost black with a ruby hue and a creamy mocha head. Roasted, dark fruit aroma. Medium oily mouthfeel with tight carbonation. Toasted malt flavour with vanilla and coffee notes and a touch of smoke. Oscbert (1305) - Lincoln, California, USA - DEC 13, 2012
~Roasty coffee aroma with dark chocolate and light vanilla bready notes. Metallic notes as well.
~Pours black with rich garnet highlights and a lasting beige head.
~Vanilla is more prominent in the flavor. Creamy vanilla flavor with lots of roasty malt flavors of coffee and dark chocolate.
~Medium bodied, medium CO2, smooth feel. Bitter roast finish.
~Enjoyable beer. The roastiness could be lowered a bit. Nothing real special about this one. hfmejias (1283) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - JAN 7, 2014
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Dark reddish brown with a tan head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of grain and malts combined with some hints of vanilla. Taste is a bit watery, of coffee and caramel notes, I don’t get much vanilla; some bitterness to it. Nice drinkable beer, quite decent. jw0406 (1275) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - NOV 18, 2014

Pours dark mahogany brown with a small brown head. Smells mildly of roast and vanilla. Taste is mild sweetness, hints of roast, and kinda like soda. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Leinenkugel’s Snowdrift Vanilla Porter finishes with a cloying sweetness. Quick3Beers (1234) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Pours from a bottle a dark, nearly opaque reddish-brown. Caramel, oak, & vanilla dominate the aroma and flavor, but a little overly sweet. An okay porter. polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Bottle. Aroma has notes of vanilla, chocolate, caramel, floral hops. Very dark brown that sits black in the glass. Average off-white head. Flavor is heavy sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied and watery with average carbonation. Overall an average porter which is better than what I expected. scottw86 (1177) - Maryland, USA - NOV 29, 2012
Poured a very dark brown with a hint of red. Small head. Roasted nutty aroma with caramel. Some vanilla. Taste has lots of vanilla with nuts and cream. Carbonation a little high. Maybe too much vanilla, it dominates the flavor. Finish has some nice caramel flavors with a touch of coffee. Overall not bad, but too much vanilla. Rated based on notes taken on 26 Dec 2014 -- Honestly this is my favorite Leinenkugel beer. Decent vanilla porter for sure.
