Very, very rich, and certainly not a good choice for a session beer. It is very delicious though.

The aroma flavor and body are all suffering from a weak malt bill. The concept is good as I pick up some of the claimed qualities of dark malts roastiness, vanilla, burnt sugar but the thinness does damage.

Nice winter beer. Mellow and sweet, it leaves an excellent vanilla flavor on the tongue ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2017 aroma is lacking, really have to try to get the malts and slight sweet vanilla. black cola color. weak palate, but slight sweet tongue coating. Taste is very basic and watery. some malts, bitter cocoa, and burnt caramel. Tap

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Whole Foods Market. Appearance is clear, dark brown/ruby red with finger-width, light brown foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong vanilla, chocolate, sweet roasted malts. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, lively carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, this was a real favorite of mine a few years back but I'm finding it a bit too sweet now, which is saying something, and overcarbonated.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2017 Pours dark, dark brown, to black... creamy tan head. Dark roasted malts, fermented breads, coffee, nuts, vanilla, a light hint of fruit. Mellow. Not as rich and creamy tasting as in the appearance. It's ok.

12 oz bottle. Pours an opaque dark dark brown with a layer of tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts and chocolate with a hint of vanilla. Pretty thin but not bad.

well it looks hella good in a glass. but it doesnt taste all that great. really dry and chalky. vanilla is there and little roastyness but its just weak and seems artificial

Bit of an odd taste. Good carbonation. No hoppiness whatsoever. You can definitely taste the vanilla, unfortunately it just adds a nasty character to the beer. A bit astringent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from notes. Pours a dark cola brown color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor have light roasted malts, light vanilla, a hint of chocolate, thin, watery for a porter, more like a basic brown, forgettable.

3.6
Bebum (1098) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 22, 2017
Clear copper, tall, lasting head. Sweet nose. Medium body, flavorful, gentle mouthfeel with high carbonation but average heat. Sweetish, hint of sourness and bitterness more evident in the finish. Very malty, tar, medium roast coffee, caramel, yeast but not a lot of vanilla. Very pleasant and well balanced porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
