Remarkably non-hideous. I drank the whole bottle. I think it is supposed to taste like a hefeweizen w/ lemon pre-squeezed in it as a convenience to you, the consumer. Of course, it tastes more like Country Time lemonade than anything but it does have a beer-like mouthfeel so I guess they folks at Leinenkugal can be proud of that at least. Otherwise, this really has no redeeming virtue.

Re: the cleaning product aroma and flavor as mentioned in many other reviews. I have tasted and enjoyed many of the best cleaning products on the market. I find this to be entirely dissimilar in terms of balance and texture.
Bottle purchased at D’s Six Pax. I have to confess that I feel like I’m going to hate this beer, so let’s see what happens. Pours hazy corn gold, white head. Aroma is Mr. Clean floor cleaner (great start there). Flavor is floor cleaner, wheat and malt. Absolutely disgusting. Well, my first impressions were confirmed. Thumbs way down.

Oh and can you say "drain pour?"
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very cloudy yellow-golden color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was dryish, lemony and a bit musty. The flavor was tart and bitter artificial lemon with a lightly tangy middle and a long tart artificial lemon finish. Nice on a hot day, which this was, but not overall a very good beer. Not exactly what I was expecting but it is a great hot weather beer for a 100+ degree day. A tea with lemon flavor, drinkable, and the leinie taste fans of this beer would expect. Surprised its for sale down here in Georgia but thats a good thing. Will drink it again. jmw141 (134) - Canton, Illinois, USA - JUN 14, 2008
Bottle to glass. Pours a cloudy browish-yellow with a bright white head that is gone fast. The aroma is wonderfully citrusy and begs you to drink it on a hot summer day. However, once tasted it becomes solvent-y, almost like pine-sol would probably taste. Theres a ton of lemonade, but I would just rather taste plain lemons. Finishes light and carbonated. Drink this one very cold. Its better that way.

Sampled with JRHB meeting. Pale hazy yellow. Smells like lemonade. Somewhat zesty lemon flavor. Very much like a mildly alcoholic lemonade in flavor. Not beery at all. Sort of a second cousin of Mike’s Hard Lemonade. I just didn’t enjoy it very much, I honestly think I would prefer the malternative over this. 12 ounce bottle purchased at a random gas station here in Davis, CA. Aroma is lemon fresh Pine Sol. Oh yeah, sweet sugary lemonade, too. I like the smell of Pine Sol, but it doesn’t motivate me to drink it. Mostly hazy straw colored body with a bubbly, quickly dissipating white head. Well, this tastes like it smells. I can’t imagine Pine Sol tasting like this, though. No carbonation, no bitterness. Just some flat lemony flavor that is barely tart. Fucking Pine Sol. Pours golden, and smells much like it tastes. LEMONADE!! Overall not that great, but refreshing i suppose. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - JUN 11, 2008
THOUGHTS: Not a great beer, but a nice refreshing beverage. More like a lemonade than a beer, but not a hard lemonade, just a regular lemonade. Didn’t even seem like there was any alcohol. Like lemonade that had a lot of ice in it that has all melted.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a cloudy, light yellow that was almost whitish and glowed when held to the light. The aroma was lemonade with a little wheat and light yeast. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderately to heavily acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet and acidic and a little sour with a short to average duration. The flavor was mostly lemonade with a little wheat, but it’s all a little watery. I was nice but watered down. The light body was dry and watery too with fizzy carbonation and a dry and lightly astringent finish. thill25 (233) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 9, 2008
12 oz bottle...Poured hazy yellow w/ a thick, foamy white head that left little streaks of soapy laces. The aroma was lemon, yeast, malts. The flavor was exactly like I expected an unbalance mix of lemonade and an American wheat beer. Someone mentioned that it tasted like Countrytime powdered lemonade and I’d have to agree with that statement. On the plus side, the beer wasn’t heavy and it was very refreshing. It would suffice as a terrific beach beer or lawnmower beer.
