2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I suspected that a major brewer was behind this one based on the packaging but I picked up a six-pack anyway. This one has a little too much lemon in it. I did enjoy it on a nice hot afternoon though. It is a good summer beer to break up the monotony.
From the start, the aroma is dominated by lemon. There is something else in there but I can’t put a finger on it.
Pale yellow and hazy. It looks like an unfiltered wheat, though I’m pretty sure that it is filtered. A small white head forms and disappears just as quickly. Nothing to be impressed by here, move along.
The taste is crisp and refreshing. Strong and slightly sour lemonade. Pretty much what you expect from a beer advertised as a "Weiss Beer with Lemonade". This is a pretty nice light taste for a hot afternoon.
The palate is very lively. A nice hit of carbonation on the tongue and lips through the whole beer. Despite the opacity, this is a very light thin beer. The finish is quick and a little tart.
flavor is VERY LIGHT with citrus/lemon quite noticeable. mkel07 (6462) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 21, 2017
great beer if all you want is something called a beer that you can drink on a hot summer day.
if you want some character, flavor or presence, you may want to look at German beers.
Can from Liquor Market in Las Vegas on 12 October 2017. Another beer in the Leinenkugel "shandy" series and this one is light and spritzy in the mouth with a lemon aftertaste. Not a real lot of substance to this beer but served its purpose on a hot day. snider75 (5) - - SEP 21, 2017 does not count
This is one of my favorite beers. The only thing I don’t like about it is that I can’t get it all year long!

12 oz Boyle from a cousin in Deltaville, Va. The shandy poured a cloudy gold color with a fizzy head and lacing. The aroma of lemon and tropical fruits greets you. The shandy has a light body and soft carbonation after pouring. This is light refreshing beer much like a fruit drink. The finish had lemon zest in the swallow. This is nice a selection for the beach

and other water front activity.
Don't mind the original Shandy too much, but can't get over the Grapefruit love that shandy.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2017 Drank out of a can at the golf course. Refreshing on a hot day but maybe a touch too sweet. Little too much honey as well BarrelDoctor108 (1) - - JUL 30, 2017 does not count
Perfect beer at the pool! Refreshing, light, and not overly carbonated like light beers are camay1997 (76) - patton, California, USA - JUL 28, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2017 Thick white head over a hazy pale yellow body. There’s a clear odor of citrus with an emphasis on lemon. It’s great on the palate, to to sour but does taste a little flat. The hint of lemon is just that, a hint nothing to overwhelm the senses. An excellent beer in it’s style, though I should admit, I’m not too intimate with the style. Cloudy glowing pale yellow color with a soft bubbly white head of foam. Smells straight up like a Sprite. The soda aroma gives itself away quickly upon the taste which is heavy on wheat with a weak lemon flavor to follow.
