I bit too fruity for my tastes. Almost like 7UP meets Boulevard Wheat. Wont buy again.

Pours a cloudy, yeasty, pale yellow with a decent white head that coats the glass somewhat. Has a Bazooka bubblegum aroma. Spicy coriander taste with an artificial fruitiness along with some minor hop bitterness. Interesting. Not bad at all, yet not worth seeking out.

Bottle. Strong orange/lemon-lime and wheat aroma. Lightly cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. A strong berry-orange flavor (like Fruit-Loops). An average American wheat thats heavy on the fruit side.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2006 On tap at Digiovannis. Pours a hazy light orange color with a small head. Aroma of wheat grain and fruit. Taste a litle odd with a hint of blueberry and corriander. I cant say that I was to impressed with this beer.

This is obviously what the Oompa-Loompas ended up with when they juiced violet beauregard. Those crafty Leinenkugels! Pours a beautiful orange with a pure white head. Looks and smells like citrus, but when I tasted this for the first time I was shocked, amused and fell immediately in love with its blueberry goodness. Has a heady wheat flavor with hints of blueberry, orange, lime and apricot. Very refreshing with a slightly tart finish that leaves you reaching for the next sip. An unexpected but wholeheartedly appreciated find this summer. On tap at Comiskey Park and worth seeking out!

Bottle. Smells like blueberries, or rather like a poorly made blueberry wheat. Theres some light orange soapy scents in there too, but the nose is dominated by a funky blueberry scent. Appearance is proper for an unfiltered wheat. Light and smooth up front, a little more rough on the palate after that, with those blueberry wheat flavors showing up... finishes with a light creamy texture. Really far off from what a wheat beer should be like, but I guess I can see drinking this when cold and its hot and sunny outside. Still, not very good compared to others in the style.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold, light head. Aroma is fruity, very fresh, with hints of spice. Taste is a nicely layered combo of orange and corriander. First taste is sweet, next is spicy. Very pleasant to drink.

suprised by this one, was expecting the same old macro version of a wheat. heavy citrus made it an enjoyable summer beer.
