UPDATED: AUG 9, 2006 The best seasonal beer I’ve ever had. It reminded me of Blue Moon but with a stronger flavor of corriander. Distinctive, suprisingly decent body, sweet aromas. And the name just makes you want another! Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2006
A very fruity tropical beer. The wheat and the malt are dominate in this one and while American wheat are a bit more fruity, this one really shines out. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - AUG 6, 2006
Not bad, has a bit of a fruit loop flavor to it, with some interesting orange ctirus rind and corriander flavors. A bit of that wheaty yeasty flavor, but that is mostly in the background and unrecognizable. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2006
This aroma and taste are fruity with malt. The appearance is interesting. The palate is thin but ok. I like this beer even though it’s a tad thin. KSS (102) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2006
Sweet orange aroma. Spicey, sweet orange taste. A nice change for a hot summer day.

Bottle. A very strange beer. Strong fruit like peach aroma almost like a fuzzy navel. I think if I had been blindfolded I might not have guessed that it was a beer. Tasted more like a wine cooler. All the same it was at least drinkable as a beverage, although not a good beer. ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - AUG 2, 2006
Draught at Kane County Cougars game. Spice in the nose like corriander or allspice. Cloudy, brownish orange from what I could tell looking through a plastic cup. Off-white head. Tastes like it smells; spices. Some dough in the finish. Not bad. Better than Leinie’s hefe. Not quite sweet enough. There is some flavor aspect I don’t like. Buddy says it tastes like fruit loops. My second time having it out of a bottle was a noticeably better experience. Banana notes with some sweetness. A good summer quencher with flavor. xav33 (313) - Midland, MI, Michigan, USA - AUG 1, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2006 Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat
12 oz bottle
Recent bottling, sipped on 07/30
Medium pour in a tulip glass
Poured a cloudy golden outer edge with a denser orange copper middle with a disappointingly fast dissapating 1/4 inch head.
Smelt of candied oranges, like orange gummi bears.
Taste a pleasant ascent into candied oranges, reminescent of orange gummy candy, followed by a hint of spicy flowery wheat and settling into a short sourness. A bit short and timid though. Mouthfell was light and effervescent.
Overall, a surprisingly tasty refrehing summer wheat lacking only complexity and length. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 29, 2006
12oz bottle-An aroma of citrus on a cloudy yellow beer with a white head. Taste of wheat and coriander on a light body. Not bad but could of been bettter. Panzuriel (2256) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JUL 29, 2006
medium yellow with a nice white head. Nose is sweet citrus. Flavor is also a sweet citrus blend. maybe a little too sweet. Reminsicent of the green or orange froot loops. Not a good thing in a beer. Body was a bit thin. Cloying sweetness lingered far too long.
