bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy medium orange amber, persistent 1" egg-white head, wavy bands of lace. Bright aroma of fresh orange. Taste is malt and orange citrus that moves easily through the palate, becoming tart on the swallow, then taking on an unusual (but not bad) sweet malty orange to finish. Actually, a reasonable, thirst quenching, but also bloating brew. Jurys still out...enjoy the orange.

12 oz. bottle from BevMo. Light nose with some pleasant sweetness, ginger and orange peel overtones. Unbalanced taste seems artificial and candy like with no discernible malt or hops background. Thin body. Weak overall, with a slight sourness. Otherwise pretty much like a soda pop.

Cloudy gold beer with a thin white foamy head. Nose of lemon, sour yeast, and aromatic spice. Flavor is bracing with a sharp citrus flavor initially that gives way to a slight bitterness with undertones of coriander and orange peel. Perky effervescence and light mouth feel make for a pleasant summer brew, but after a while the flavor starts to seem synthetic. Good for the first few sips; becomes taxing on the palate eventually.

"wow...i had this a while back in a bottle and dont remember it being so...well...wretched. had on tap at Buffalo Wild Wings, thinking id ordered a sunshine wheat. oh well. looks like a murky apple cider with thin head. pretty unappealing. also, so overdone with the fruit/citrus aspect, it didnt smell like a beer either...to the point i had to double check with the waitress as to what it was. overcarbonated to the point that i was gassy half way through a 23 oz glass. so...over-carbonated sweet muddled flavor. looks bad, no real redeeming qualities. this is a garbage beer in every aspect. i cant imagine the people who rated this anywhere near a 4 had the same quality of sample i just drank (without finishing)"

Artificial tasting lemonade with some coriander spice. Essentially not a beer, yet surprisingly refreshing.

Transfer from BA review on 8-12-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance The beer pours a hazy orange copper color with a billowy one finger white head. The head fades rather rapidly leaving some light streaks of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell The aroma is on the sweeter side with a variety of fruit smells. Orange and lemon are the strongest, but other light fruit aromas of peach and some berry seem to be there as well. Along with the sweet is some spice of coriander and a decent showing of wheat, overall leading to a fruity wit aroma. Taste The taste begins with a more grainy wheat taste accentuated by a larger amount of mixed fruit. As the taste advances some flavors of yeast come to the tongue along with some spice which all in all combined in the end to leave a sweet and fruity wheat taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. Both are quite fitting for the style and make it a nice summer style beer. Overall An alright brew overall. Nothing super out of the ordinary, but nothing wrong with it either.

Draft sample at Cincy Beerfest 2014 on Fountain Square. Pours a hay light orange-gold with a finger of white head. Notes of orange, lemon, and lime citrus, wheat, bread, berries, sugar, and cereal. There was something kind of artificial about it. It doesnt have as much Fruity Pebbles character as the Summer Shandy, but its similar. Light-bodied, with medium soft carbonation and a sweet, wheaty mouthfeel. Meh.

Bottle. Spicy sweetness in nose, ginger, orange peel, coriander. Cloudy brownish/yellow color (kinda ugly), thin head. Tangy candyish initial, orange pralines, minor wheat notes. Thin body. Weak overall, with a crude spiciness.Tastes artificial, like a soda pop.

Very thin head from the bottle to glass for this sweet beverage. It creates a golden color that allows very little through. The smell, taste, and palate all provide a strong lemon flavor that delights without overpowering. It has a nice refreshing taste, but it turns artificial for each beer beyond the first.
