Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is fruity with a slight tartness and a light watermelon note. The flavor is pretty light and easy drinking with a nice, albeit rather artificial tasting, fruity watermelon juiciness. A slight hint of pale malt and light yeastiness. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation and a short finish. Meh, not the biggest fan of this one, it won’t set any beer geeks on fire, that much is sure. 3/7/6/3/11

While overall, it's not bad. It's not great either. It's not BLATZ, that's for sure, but it's not like a mouthful of nothing, either. Or not. What is it, exactly? I don't know. Neither does Bob Dole. Where am I?

DATE: September 15, 2017... OCCASION: a muggy night spent running (four miles through a bug-infested park) and soccer practice... in need of something light... GLASSWARE: Hoegaarden tumbler... this one should be quick...a sallow, murky yellow body akin to muddy river water supports a foamy, bubbly off-white head that shows some spunky resilience... tart, candied mouthfeel, reminiscent of wacky wafers or a scented eraser--fun, but not alluring... mouthfeel is fizzy, fuzzy, gassy, lightly refreshing, active as it hits the throat, and slightly creamy... easily slammable, its biggest asset... the flavor here is predictably candied watermelon, with hints of hay, lemon grass, and cracker malts... as a shandy case mate, this would be my last choice--fruity, fizzy, and refreshing, but not too far removed from an alcoholic seltzer...

Good Shandy, but I love the Grapefruit one 100 times more, delicious. Solid 4 out of 5. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy yellow color. Very white head, about one finger. Good retention, good lacing.

Aroma is white bread. Artificial sour watermelon, ugh.

Taste is light, lightly sweet. Tart watermelon, which I despise.

Mouthfeel is light and dry. Pretty refreshing once you get used to the sour watermelon.

Overall, it’s okay. I really expected sweet watermelon, not the sour artificial tart jolly rancher stuff. I did, I expected that from Leinenkugel. So, besides that, it’s pretty good. But you add that fake watermelon, it’s not so good. Have we not progressed so much scientifically in the food industry that we can’t make an artificial watermelon flavor that tastes like watermelon. Why must the sour watermelon be the best we can do? The folks that make Bubblicious have something figured out, they can make a Watermelon gum, that’s artificial and sweet! Approach them, find out the secret!! It doesn’t have to taste like that, but it sure could taste better than sour watermelon. Grrrrr!

Bottle to half-pint glass, shared by the Mrs. Looks solid; a cloudy lemon with white head. Smells and tastes of mild watermelon and lemonade with a medium light-bodied mouthfeel. More of an unbalanced watermelon presence on the tongue though. Underwhelming.

Hazyblight golden hue with a large foamy white head. Light nose with wheaty notes, a little artificial melon, and a light bit of honey. Smooth soft flavor that’s wheaty bready and clean, has a touch of honey, and a soft finish of fake watermelon sugars. Crisp wheaty finish. Bland and plain.

12 oz. bottle, thanks George! Watermelon jolly rancher, bubblegum, butterscotch, and lemon. Sweet, with just a hint of bitterness. Medium body, with a pulpy, thick feel. Odd, and candy-like. Not very good, though.

Bottle. Pale yellow and hazy. The head is substantial and staying. There’s no real aroma. This tastes exactly like a strawberry hard candy. If you’re into that kinda thing, then I suppose it ain’t bad. No technical faults here. (#6706, 7/18/2017)
