COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
the typical Wheat Ale fragrances of banana, vanilla and pear compote with a hint of spice. The initial taste is fruity and swells to a medium bodied mouthfeel. Cloves and nutmeg create tension. The texture is juicy; the nale concludes with moments of crisp spiciness and a malty body which provides toasty impressions. Hoppy- aromatic, full-bodied, multi-layered.

chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2009
Draught at Lemkes Spezialitatenbrauerei, Berlin, March 2009. Orange colour. Aroma is estery, but more bubblegum than banana. Sweet with bit of sharp fruit on the palate. Too much bubblegum really. I found this the least enjoyable of the Lemke beers, but then I’m not a big wheat fan anyway.

Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2009
Draught at Lemke. Cloudy amber - white head. Banana, wheaty, citrus, caramel, light sweetness, fruity, OK - not too yeasty - a bit simple.

On tap. At "Lemke am Schloss", Berlin-Charlottenburg. Pours a very cloudy orangey golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast but also a little butter. Medium body, yeasty with a whiff of banana and a lightly tart touch. The finish is dry. Bavarian Hefe still rules! 080109

2.4
henrikb (1263) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2008
Very hazy golden body, lasting white head; Lots of banana, lots of clove and a quite sharp almost band-aid like touch without it seeming like an error; To small but not full enough biting carbonation on velvet body, very slight acid touch, quite sweet; Very dense clove aromas in quite long finish, it gets the harshness as when to much clove is used in a dish. Not good at all.
