(bottle, 33cl, 5.4% abv, 13.2 Plato, subtitle: Wiener Lagerbier) Clear, dark amber colour with a mid-sized and tanned foamy head. Mildly bready and toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, nuts and hints of vanilla, backed by a tinge of spicy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with caramel, nutty notes, herbal and earthy hops in the background, which are getting slightly stronger towards the dry bitter-sweet finish. Nice one. 29.I.16 Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2010

Keg at Lemke, Berlin. Paired with large sausages. As ’Lemke Original’, 5.4%. Dark orange brown, hazy with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is bready, card, a little flinty. Body is smooth, tingly to spritzy carbonation. Taste is toffee, straw, bread, sugars. Complemented my salty sausage nicely. Good. Cunningham (7990) - Halden, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2015

Beer No. 36 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Pale amber coloured, small off-white head, caramelish nose. Sweet malty, caramel and mild nutty with notes of hops in the finish. Pretty ordinary and also watery.
