Bomber courtesy of IrishBoy (Thanks Richard!) Poured a hazy tarnished gold with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of crackers, lemon zest, pine and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, pemon, grapefruit, light peach, light pine and light oramge with a smooth dry lingering lemon finish. Strong biscuit malt aroma with some grass and vegetal hop notes as well as a bit of salty air. Hazy honey yellow with a very foamy and persistent white head. More grass and green leaf bitterness in the flavor followed by dry thistle and a tangy lemon bite. There’s just enough sweetness in the body to barely balance this hop melange out, but it’s more of a platform for it. This flavor careens in and out of balance but ultimately settles on a something unique and tasty. Body is light and it finishes quickly but leaves an astringent bitterness on the tongue and back of the mouth. My first beer from Lengthwise and it’s making me wonder why I haven’t visited them yet when I’m visiting my relatives in Bakersfield. Funkatrocious (119) - - DEC 28, 2015
Pour from bottle in Bakersfield California. Fresh citrus and pine notes. This has everything I look for in a good IPA. Very pleased.

Bomber to pint. Lemongrass, meadow and slight cat. Hazy golden-orange with massive retained white head. Taste is pine, cedar, orange. Saltine cracker. Complex and I think I like it.

3 of my favorite hops. Bursting with juicy hops yet still sessionable. Solid across the board. Sweet and fruity with an avg body. TylerGreenDC (1094) - - APR 20, 2015
Draft. Not a lot of aroma. Quick burst of dry-hopped flavor, a boom of hoppy green tea before the burst dissolves, leaving some pineappley Simcoe pale ale flavor. Thin malts. Ridiculously dry finish. Summery! batneil (798) - - APR 17, 2015
Pours rather cloudy and pale, but makes up for the appearance in flavour. It’s smooth and hoppy, but not too bitter. Goes down easily. Dogbrick (14009) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 11, 2015
This beer pours a slightly hazy pale orange color with a medium thick off-white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
