Color was a cloudy, cream yellow. Tasted very "wit-like" with an alcoholic banana, clove taste. It had a very nice hop finish which I wasnt expecting. Not bad! kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 9, 2009

Pretty smooth, slight banana taste, very wheat like, nice head that lasts pretty well. ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - MAR 8, 2009
On tap at the brewpub in Bakersfield. Poured a really nice cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma was banana and cloves. Flavor was a bit of the same, but also a bit on the sweet side which was surprising. The banana was not overwhelming which was nice. Decent wheat.

My Bottom Line:DarkElf (3062) - La Jolla, California, USA - AUG 18, 2008
Citrus fruit, banana esters and crunchy wheat coalesce in this American Weizen’s doughy body, forming a perhaps generic, but quite enjoyable pint.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the cloudy blond.
-The cushy mouthfeel is one of this beer’s most endearing features.
-Both the aroma and flavour profile are straightforward and well developed.
-Light hop bitterness concludes each sip.
On tap at Kern River Brewing.
13-Aug-08 (22-oz bottle with a competition label only: Free sample bottle for stewarding the 2008 World Beer Cup in San Diego, CA) Entered as a South German-style hefeweizen, this is a very spicy wheat beer, not a characterless beer with wheat flavor and nothing else. Jumping out are bright spices, lots of cloves, sweet banana and bubblegum, all the yeast-driven flavors you expect out of an authentic hefeweizen. Aromas of dough, banana and clove reinforce the flavors. Medium in body into the finish, but the spices and moderate carbonation are lively enough to keep the palate dancing and feeling reasonably well refreshed. Cloudy, pale yellow in color with a small, whitish head that settles to a thin ring. Nice job on this one. iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - AUG 28, 2009
On tap @ the brewpub. Cloudy orange with a small creamy off-white head, fading to a film. Loads of banana in the aroma with some faint spicy clove notes. Flavor is much the same with just a little bit of lemon. Big wheat finish with bitterness around a 2 or so. Light prickly carbonation with a medium body. This is not an American Wheat--this is one banana-y hefe. IrishBoy (4200) - Bakersfield, California, USA - FEB 28, 2006
On tap at the pub. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma with a whaet flavor with a little bitterness from the hops. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 20, 2008
Yellow orange, hazy with a thin head. Aroma is again light, but has hints of banana and bubble gum. Light pleasant banana sweetness with a touch of wheat malt, clove and a little soapiness that comes through in the end. Finishes with a little wheat/lemon sourness. Thin bodied, smooth carbonation. Pretty decent.
