Hoppy for an Irish red. Makes a good first impression but then goes nowhere. Muddled malt and weakish body. Just ok. IrishBoy (4185) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAR 6, 2012
Draft at Lengthwise the Pub. Replaces the Scottish Ale for their spring seasonal. Hazy rusty red with a medium, lightly lacing offwhite head. Mose is caramel, citrus and floral hoppiness, and a hint of bubblegum. Flavor is nicely bitter hoppiness, caramel and a slight hint of pine, with a lightly bitter finish. A really nice hoppy amber.
