Thanks to erzengel for the bottle! Pours a very dark brown color with a deep tan head. The smell is dark roasted malt, dark fruit, grass rising up. The taste is crisp and dry right off the bat, dark roasted malt and fruit come in with some brown sugar then char/dry ending. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Quite nice and strongly flavored.

0.33 l bottle from ’BierPost.com’, best before November 2016. Clear, very dark reddish brown with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, a bit fruity and slightly roasty aroma of caramel, nuts, a touch of chocolate and raisins. Sweetish-malty, bready, slightly roasty and a bit fruity taste of caramel, toasted bread, nuts, some raisins and hints of chocolate, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and a bit dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, a bit unround, too bready maybe, but still pleasant to drink. kto (1788) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 8, 2016
