Tap at the Bonte Koe, Leiden. Poured a crystal clear straw with a round white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, fruit caramel. The flavour is medium bitter with a big hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

25cl bottle @home. Must admit, I wouldn’t buy this separately, but since it was in a 6-pack together with beers I wanted to try, here it is. Pours clear golden with a big creamy head. Malt aroma, little sweetness. Taste little sweetness, malty. Nice for a pils and would be nice on a warm day. Nothing more than that.

jbruner (4688) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 16, 2013
Drank as the Pub Pils at the Avenue Pub in New Orleans during Zwanze Day 2013. Pours a clear gold with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma and taste is bready grain and pils malt, with a nice crisp lager finish. Nothing that exciting, but a decent pils.

MrW (664) - Mechelen, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2013
Something too calm down @ ZBF 2013 Grainy, malt, light aroma. Yellow blond, sparkling, white large head, always a little layer that lasts. Something to drink when thirsty. Easy drinking, not that much taste. Straw, cereal. Watery finish, barely aftertaste. "Gewoon een pintje voor tussendoor."

Draught at Restobière, Brussels, as SAS Pils
Pale blond color. A light Pilsner, both aroma and flavor, but at least there is a shade of crispy malts, and some cereals; low bitterness.

SAS Pils from tap. White head. Light malt nose, whiff of hops. Lightly sweet-malty taste, hops in the finish. Light body. Quite good Pils.

brokensail (16432) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Clear golden straw pour with a white head. Kind of a watery aroma. There’s a lot of straw, corn, and grain sweetness. A bit of cigarette, some grass, and body odor. The flavor has a touch of cigarette to it as well. Some corn and pale malt sweetness, grass, and straw with no bitterness or real hop flavor. Pretty watery flavor as well.
