We know what you’re thinking: “Pearls filled with gold??”

We know that’s what you’re thinking because that’s exactly what we thought when we saw the title. But no, these pearls haven’t been injected with gold like mozzarella into so many Pizza Hut crusts. The “gold filled” part of the title refers to the necklace itself.

We know what you’re thinking: “A necklace filled with gold??”

Bottle. Pours hazy and brownish. Light sour nose, really not characteful at all. Taste feels weirdly flat at first but grapefruit comes through, bit faded feel to it but still lightly bitter and juicy. Dry bitter aftertaste. Quite classical take on red grapefruit IPA, juicy and citrusy.

BeerViking (5075) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2017
Bottle pours orange-brown with a thin head, spicy toasty nose with hints of burnt toffee, apple peel and old wine. Full flavoured and bitter, with toasted dark bitter marmalade, resin, caramel. Very faint note of something resembling butyric is a bit disconcerting, but thankfully it's minor.

rand (1860) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 6, 2017
Bottle 330 ml / Craftgallery - Bern (CH). Bloody beer with a huge cream and compact head, laces. Malted aromas, fruity of citrus, carame. The taste is bitter-sweet, with bloody orange, maybe the effect of the color, and zest . Light beer, crispy and biscuity with a slight caramel. The bitter of citrus and pine extends in length.
