0,33l Flasche. Schwarzes blickdichtes Bier, cremiger brauner Schaum. Schkolade und Nougat Aromen. Etwas Nuss.

marcus (9991) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 16, 2017
Bottle from Corti Brothers. Pours near black with a huge foamy tan head and a roasty chocolate aroma. There is a full-bodied smoky dark molasses flavor with a rather bitter finish. A mouthful of flavor.

bhensonb (14891) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 12, 2017
Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours very dark brown with a darkish tan head. Aroma of dark burnt malt and something herbaceous. Med + body. Flavor is chocolate, smooth burnt malt, and seemingly anise. Not dry, but the anise is strong enough to help with balance. Cant parse out any hops, but its bitter, so must be some. The flavor is rather strong - a good thing. Finishes not very towards dry, but pleasing bitter - like strong coffee bitter - but I dont get coffee here. Interesting and tasty stuff.

Draft at the Konttori, Tampere, Finland.
Black color with a small tan head. Dark chocolate, roasted malt, sweetness, nuts and some toffee in the aroma. The flavor is roasted malt, hoppy bitterness, marmalade, sweetness and ashy dryness. Strong and roasted. Not really a balanced one. Burnt.

SebBrews (130) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - FEB 17, 2017
Pours dark brown, almost black color with small espresso head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, dark fruits and liquor-like alcohol. Taste is medium bitter with a slight burnt character towards the end. Flavors of mocha coffee, dried fruits, cocoa. Medium bitter aftertaste with a boozy kick. Medium body, oily texture, low carbonation. Very good, maybe the burnt aftertaste is a bit off-putting.
