Developed over many trips to visit our friends at Lervig in Norway. This collaboration is dark & rich with a great roast, sweet flavor & alcohol back bone to balance it all out. Sit back enjoy and look down on it all with decadence.

33 cl. no bottling date evident. Ebony brew with a lasting quarter-inch of meringue on top. Pleasant nose of dark roasted coffee, cocoa, caramel, peanut and a touch of smoky char. Flavors of caramel cola, roasted peanut, licorice, nearly charred bread, oats and old coffee. Medium-heavy body has low-medium fizz and a drinkable balance.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2017 Bottle at polyhistor. Pitch black colour small white lacing. Nose is roasted malts, coffee. Taste is high roasted bitterness. Some ashy sourness. A nice imp stout.

Intense, dark chocolate, cacao, dark pralines, dark roast filter coffee, dark, toasted malts. Black, medium creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More dark chocolate, bitter baking cacao, dark coffee, filter, soft carbonation, full bodied, bitter, dark roasted, slightly charred malts in the finish. Intense and rich Impy, punchy but well-balanced. Bottle from Cerveceria Arte&Sana, Malaga.

Draught at Brewdog Helsinki. Black color, beige head. Bitter taste with roasted malts, chocolate, nuts, licorice, coffee, vanilla and wood. Bitter finish with coffee, chocolate, nuts, wood, licorice, dark fruits and vanilla. Excellent imperial stout.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Pitch black, espresso head. A light roasty kick is followed by rich dark fruit sweetness, prunes, and even a hint of floral hops. The taste is big and velvety - black chocolate, a lovely dark fruit note, soft and smooth bitter finish. No rough edges.

Aromat to bardzo wyraźne nuty kakaowca, czekolady, pralinek. Piana drobniutka, bogata, trzyma się i wygląda świetnie. Kolor czarny nieprzejrzysty. W smaku wyraźna paloność, ciemna gorzka czekolada, jest rozgrewające, nieco ostre. Piwo pije się super gładko, jest oleiste, łagodnie przechodzi przez przełyk, nisko wysycone, paloność jest dość agresywna, zalegająca. Ogólnie piwo jest naprawdę świetne, dobrze się pije, ma wyraźny bukiet smakowy i zapachowy. Na minus jednak nieco ostra (?) paloność długo zalegająca w ustach, alkohol dobrze schowany.

(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20170512) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had dark chocolate, cocoa powder, burnt malts and liquorice. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had dark chocolate, burnt malts and bitterness. A very nicely done burnt brew. Alcohol was well hidden.

0,33l Flasche. Schwarzes blickdichtes Bier, cremiger brauner Schaum. Schkolade und Nougat Aromen. Etwas Nuss. Auch im Antrunk Haselnuss, Bitterschokolade und Kaffe. Im Mittelteil sehr röstig bitter. Der hohe Alkohol ist elegant eingebunden. Etwas Honig und Melasse im Abgang. Lang anhaltend bitteres Finish. Es könnte insgesamt etwas mehr Körper haben, trotzdem ein top Bier.
