Draft @ Oliver Twist, 30/3-14.
Cloudy yellow with a short white head. Hoppy and citric aroma with some wheat and brett. Taste is citric, dry and bitter with straw and a spicy and slight acidic bretty character. Medium bodied, slight spritzy carbonation, dry. Pretty tasty but also a bit forgettable. Saison? IPA? Hops? Brett? Ah, just throw it in there.

Keg at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A slightly hazy pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, orange, some grapefruit, mango, slight Brett, yeast and subtle grassy hops. Taste of lemon, orange, mango, some grapefruit, slight wheat, Brett and subtle spicy, grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, slightly funky, citrus and grassy hop bitterness in the finish. A fresh and citrusy IPA with a spicy, yeasty finish. Packs a lot of flavour, just doesnt last long. Good overall, could be better.

Honey yellow cloudy. Tropical fruit, delicate yeast to smell. Also peppermint or licorice. Peppery. Medium body. The flavour is fairly bitter. I wish it were fruitier and yeastier. Still good

Bottled, 330ml from Ship in a Bottle, Liverpool. Hazy amber to gold with white head. Initially quite a yeasty beer, bready dough with a banana, Belgian type background. The hops than become more dominant, grapefruit, pithy then pineapple type flavours with a resinous hint. Some harshness but it is aimed at that. Good beer.

Draft @Brouwcaf de Molen. Pours a very hazy, darker golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma of slight barnyard funk, light peppery notes, big on the orange peel, lemongrass and fruity notes. Flavor is firmly bitter with a slight funky tart touch in the back end. Very high in carbonation, which could result in a slightly more tartness than intended. Still a pleasure to drink, long bittersour aftertaste. Ncie one.
