Doing what they do best, our friends at LERVIG brewed a stout specifically for this blend with our Oude Lambiek. After it had spent some months in Cognac barrels, they blended the Lambic in. This blend was then matured in Akevitt barrels.

Bottle at T&M's. Pours black with a tiny beige head. Tart and dry with aromas of sour cherries and dust. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Long sour and dry finish.

SlackerMads (3479) - DENMARK - OCT 21, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2017 Bottle at Mette & Theis, thanks to Stefan. Black with a small tan head. Roasted malt, tobacco, dark wood, rye bread. Medium body, low sweetness, medium sour. Balanced finish. Not bad.

Alebarasi (149) - Dobrova, SLOVENIA - OCT 20, 2017
Dark brown, cola-alike color with a small, quickly dissolving tan head. Medium body, lively carbonation, no lacing. Smell of dry fruits, red wine, cherries, tobacco, sour berries, licorice, wood, some cognac and sour candy. Nice tartness. Taste of roasted malts, lemons, cherries, sour berries, light chocolate, licorice, sodium bicarbonate, grapes and vinous notes. Nice balance and transfer between sweetness and sourness. Oily texture. Interesting lambic/stout brew. Quite good, I must say.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2017 Donker bier (kleur van cola). Amper een schuimkraag. Heeft qua smaak het donkere van een stout met een fris-zuur laagje overheen. Aparte combinatie maar lekker.

matbli (453) - Poznan, POLAND - OCT 15, 2017
Bottle, pours dark brown withfast falling beige head. Aroma of red fruits, cocoa, oak, apricots and balsamico. In taste high fruity sourness with a roasty bitter finish. Very easy drinkable. Alcohol is extremly well hidden.

fidgetymidget (431) - Warsaw, POLAND - OCT 14, 2017
Z początku aromat mocno czekoladowo-beczkowy, z czasem idzie w stronę owoców, dzikości. Smak zdecydowanie kwaśny, lekko palony, prosty. W aromacie zdecydowanie więcej się dzieje

MelvinKalksma (1687) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 13, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Opaque dark brown/black beer with a slight beige/brown head. Medium/heavy aroma with a lot of sour notes thanks to the lambic. Taste follows with loads of red fruit, chocolate and acid.

MarcoDL (5322) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 8, 2017
Bottle. Black pour. Aroma has tart, chocolate, cherry, horseblanket, malt and vanilla. Taste has nice soft acidic sourness, oak, tart, horseblanket, chocolate, red fruit, vanilla and a nice booze glow. Quite refined and tasty.

beskid (271) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2017
Bottle. Kind of a stout which has gone sour, not much lambic character. Also not much of stout left. Aroma is sour, lactic, brett, roast. Taste is roasted funk, very slight dark chocolate, vinegar.
