Draft 0.15l at The Beer Temple Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 24.05.2016. Taste with Zlotta. Pour it dark color with small black head. Aroma sweet fruity, red wine nice. Taste lots of red fruits, coffee, woody note, bourbon feel, raisins, cherry on the back not agressive, full body, oily feel, soft carbonation, long finish. Perfectly balanced really great beer. Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Pitch black with a tan head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity and a little boozy aroma of molasses, ripe cherries, red wine, some vanilla and oak. Sweet, slightly sourish, a little fruity taste of molasses, dark chocolate, some coffee, ripe cherries, red wine and some oak, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly tart and a little vinous finish. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, flat. Very good, I like it a lot! The subtle, sourish cherry notes match perfectly with the chocolaty sweetness. MarcoDL (5022) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 20, 2016

On tap at Cafe Sara, april 1st 2015. Black body with a tanned head. Aroma of bourbon, leather, toffee. Taste is roasty, lightly spiced, hints of sour cherries, wood, mild sweetness combined with tartness from the berries. Solid malty finish with cherries, plums and toffee. A solid beer, the cherries seems carefully added making sure they don’t dominate the beer, resulting in a nice complex enjoyable brew.

Keg at Ushers. Pours reddish dark brown. Nose is dark fruits, vanilla and sweet barrel notes, light tart. Taste is similar, quite sweet, delicious, long aftertaste, sweet barrel botes, cherries. Aftertaste has some bitter booziness which is not the best part of this but otherwise its delicious. Cherries are quite light. Stuu666 (13635) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 11, 2016

On tap at ØST, Stavanger. Pours black with light brown head. Aroma of vanilla, coconut, sherry, cherries, wine, chocolate, fruits, alcohol. Very complex. Tastes quite sweet, but not as sweet as the base beer, due to some fruity sourness. Smooth mouth feel, some alcoholic sharpness. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2015
On tap at Cafe Fiasco. Black with a creamy beige head. Marcipane and chocolate nose, hints of sour fruit. Sour cherries emerge early and linger, balanced by chocolate and vanilla. Very good.
