0.33l bottle. Oh, it's quite a lot darker than what I was expecting! Almost copperish on color and it's deep blurry with a nice big lasting and definitely lacing bubbly off-white head. Lots of aroma! Smells quite fresh and definitely sweet hoppy fruity. I get lots of birch and wood juices here, pine with a sweet caramel malty thick sweetness in the back and even a little bit of rye . Almost so that If I didn't know that this was an IPA it could be a double IPA or even a faint barley wine. Smells quite nice! Tastes quite nice also. I immediately get a dry licorice flavor in the first sip. I've noticed that I sometimes get that with a certain hop combo, and I quite enjoy it. It continues with a green coffee bean bitterness and pineworks. It has a surprisingly light almost cloudy feeling in the mouth and the bubbles are just above average. Again a little bit of dried rye and lots of caramel sweetness. Hmm.. Ends kinda mouthdrying with a lingering bitter tail. Quite a nice one! 07.02.2014 RuneStumo (2747) - Haugesund, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2015

Bottle at home. The colour is hazy deep orange-brown with a medium, creamy and beige head. Fruity and malty aroma with caramel, pine and grapefruit. The flavour has more grapefruit along with pine, grassy hops and sweet malt. Has a rich and slick mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A well-balanced, malty and fruity IPA. Nice. ineedbeer (2385) - Oakland, California, USA - JUL 24, 2014
Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Thanks Santa!
Aroma is moderately malty with some toasted bread, cracker and caramel notes. Moderate floral hop notes that are woodsy and slight floral. Moderate notes of onion and garlic with some grapefruit and hop resin.
Pours a somewhat cloudy, murky brown with some amber and copper notes. Moderately thick, somewhat tan head that displays above average retention as it slowly recedes to a thin film. Moderate resin with medium sized legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker notes and moderate caramel and toasted bread character. Medium high bitterness with moderate hop flavor. Hop flavor is mostly grassy and woodsy with some onion notes. Light grapefruit and pine resin with hints of alcohol.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, an interesting IPA but the hop notes are not as nice as I prefer. The malt notes are also too strong and sweet and muddle the hop notes. IPAgutten79 (965) - Skui, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2014
