Lervig Siste Dans:
It’s a pale ale at 5.6% ABV and it’s hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Cascade – that’s alot of great hops! This beer is actually a tribute to a Norwegian rock band called Kaizers Orchestra (which I personally have never heard of), but it supposedly was big in Norway before they split in 2013. Onto the beer! It pours a nice amber colored body, kinda murky but that’s because it’s unfiltered. The aroma is very sharp! It is citrus and grapefruit in abundance! There’s some nice juicy piney and grassy notes too. This aroma is more powerful than most IPA even though it’s a pale ale – very impressive! The taste is very bitter and dry on the tongue at first, but then there’s that juicy fruityness coming through! The bitterness is mellowed by the sweetness in the aftertaste, but at the second sip it’s the same story all over again. The aftertaste reminds me of English jelly beans for some reason. I must be all those fruity, piney, grassy flavors from all those different hops combined! It’s very nice and interesting! Highly recommended! zvikar (6198) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - OCT 29, 2016

On tap @ Cafe Sara as "Siste Dans". This is a light blurry deep dark golden one with a small light lacing and islandy white foam top. Lovely fruity hoppy nose. Lots of nice sweetness here like peaches, sweet fruits and a nice grassyness to balance. Lovely flavors. Undoubtedly a lucky Jack on steroids. Quite lively on the carbonation and it has a light to thin oily mouthfeel. Peachy hoppy flavors. I get a good amount on citrus and grapefruit zesty jucies. Really easy to drink, and definitely tasty! 14.10.2013 TBone (17685) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 16, 2015
