330ml bottle from Dronfield Beer Stop - Pours clear reddish brown colour with thick beige head. Nose is mild dark roasted malt, pine nuts and a fruitiness. Taste of roasted malt, nuts, caramel, some red fruits, bit of pine, mildly hoppy. Not that great.

33cl shared at oldmanrivers. Thinner shoesole brown pour. Mild cooked stonefruit and autumn leaves in aroma (Centennial), quite thin in flavour body, a whiff only of the choco/caramalts. Drying mouthfeel, perfuming the palate with hazelnuts and grape.

Bottled @ The Black Swan, Liljeholmen. Hazy mahogany, thick tanned head leaving rich lacing. Earthy aroma with pine and resin. Mild carbonated, smooth and dry mouthfeel. The taste got roasted malty notes, sweet caramel, honey, resin. A bitter and dry chalky cocoa finish.

Mildly dark malty start with drying herbal spicy hops and hints of caramel; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish with a touch of resin. Quite one-dimensional. 21.II.16

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beermerchants. Pours clear reddish brown with a large, creamy tan head. Simple lightly toasted bread in the aroma, with accents of brown sugar and ripening fruits. Light to medium sweet flavour, with some earthy bitterness, impressions of cocoa, burnt caramel, brown bread, berries, biscuits. Light bodied with lively carbonation and massaging carbonation. Finishes with a fair amount of earthy bitterness, burnt toast and caramel, more bready malts, toasted leaves, faint cocoa. Decent enough low-octane brown ale.
