Bottle.Red brown color, beige head. Sweet malty nose, earthy with a hint of nuts. Roasted malt, yeast, caramel. I expected more from Lervig....

nutty and good. Head was okey, had on bottle at home. Good flavour. I personally like higher ABV and a thicker/richer head.

330ml bottle at home, from Good Spirits Company, Bath Street, Glasgow, nutty malty aroma, good beige head, no lacing, harsh chocolate, toffee flavour, prolonged bitter malty finish

Slightly cloudy appearance. Some sweetness. Burnt taste, but not too much of it. Good bitterness. Liked this one.

Almost black with a big white head. Aroma is malt, citrus and coffee. Taste is dark chocolate, malt and lime.

Nonshaugen (652) - Fetsund, NORWAY - JUN 9, 2015
My personal favourite of all the Lervig beers, though I’m not a great fan of brown ales. Well carbonated, decent bitterness, delicious chocolate and caramel aroma and flavour. Very drinkable, even on a hot summer day.

Black beer with a light malt aroma. Flavour is chocolate and coffee with the malt. A drinkable if unspectacular brown ale.
