GIJOE (1249) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Pours dark amber with a thin off-white head that reduces to a film within a minute but leaves very nice lacing. Nose is a bit hay-like for me. Notes of toast and dark chocolate. Taste is a bit bitter, surprisingly so for a brown, but not at all unpleasantly so. Medium body, lively carbonation, bitter finish. Decent brew.

Bottle from supermarket. Would like Very Much Taste This Beer with more alcohol, because to my opinion too few alc is the biggest problem in this beer. Makes the total appearance watery. But, hello! This has very good taste.

TBone (17793) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 18, 2013
Dark brown color, steady brownish head, lace. Aroma has some caramel, hops, rye and Worcester sauce. Light bodied. Resiny hoppyness, some darkish maltyness in the background. Empty and watery aftertaste. Way too light.

djoeye (4806) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2013
1/3L bottle, from Eurospar Langnes Tromsø. Filmy layer on a brown body with red brown tendency. Scents of sour malts, metal, licorice. Tastes smokey malts, licorice, metallic notes. Mouthfeel with distinct bitterness. Ends with dark bread, ashes, barbecue notes. Overall all right.
