Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a small to average, frothy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, thin, malty, malt extract. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is grains, some slight floral notes as well as mild wood and some caramel. Flavour is quite similar with a slight sourish bitterness to it.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beermerchants. Pours clear reddish brown with a large, creamy tan head. Simple lightly toasted bread in the aroma, with accents of brown sugar and ripening fruits. Light to medium sweet flavour, with some earthy bitterness, impressions of cocoa, burnt caramel, brown bread, berries, biscuits. Light bodied with lively carbonation and massaging carbonation. Finishes with a fair amount of earthy bitterness, burnt toast and caramel, more bready malts, toasted leaves, faint cocoa. Decent enough low-octane brown ale.
