Really dark, almost black pour with mocha head. Aroma is really roasty and dark fruit forward. Taste starts slightly sweet and fruity with dark berries and dark chocolate notes and gets roasty and bitter in the finish. Body is heavy and smooth with just the right amount of carbonation. You get some alcohol but not really offensive. Overall it’s pretty well made imperial stout but nothing really special. deyholla (11597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 18, 2015
Bottle. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bitter dark grains with a touch of roasted malts and a touch of coffee. Flavor has lots of dark grains with a bitterness, some roasted malts and a hint of dark chocolate.
