En svrt mrk russisk imperial stout, brygget med pilsnermalt, sjokolademalt, karamellmalt, rstet bygg og havre. Humlen er Northern Brewer og Chinook. Alegjr gjr dette brygget veldig tungt og fyldig.

Black, weak brown head. Roasty cocoa. Full-bodied, balanced bittersweet with notes of oats, cocoa and vanilla. Delicious. Finishes bittersweet and a bit warming, though this is the only moment when the ABV can be felt.

A really nice stout. Pours inky black. Aromas of sweet dark fruit, chocolate chip cookies, a touch of soy, and some red wine. Flavours are oreos and milk, dark bitter chocolate, some sour cherry too. Great stuff.

Tap. Friends of Ham, Leeds. Just about black. Film of tan head. Nose is liquorice. Chocolate. Charred wood. Light, savoury smoke. Some caramel. Taste is soft sweet. Quite dry Dark roast coffee bitter. Smooth, silky mouthfeel. Finishes long, charred bitter. Get a bit of a praline thing last off. Easy drinking, given the ABV.

Aroma of roasted malts, plenty of liquorice, chocolate, dark fruity notes, coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Thick and full, alcohol is hidden relatively well. Overall a bit heavier on liquorice than I prefer, but still a good impie stout.

This doesnt hide the alcohol quite as well as the best Imperial Stouts. Its still a very smooth, easy drinking dark beer. The aroma throws up lots of raisins and nougat as well as some apple and cigar smoke. Theres a lot of alcohol in the mouth.

The beer smells sweet of caramel and chocolate. The color is black with a beige head. The taste is awesome! Creamy sweet with notes of caramel, chocolate and coffee. It leaves the mouth with a dry finish, which fits the beer nice.

330 mL bottle from the Wine Monopoly, at home. Wow! Thick and beautiful colour, with a taste that matches. Lots of milk/lactose as well as some soy sauce and dark chocolate, and of course, alcohol. Very very thick and the flavours really came out as it warmed up over the course of an hour.
