COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En svært mørk russisk imperial stout, brygget med pilsnermalt, sjokolademalt, karamellmalt, røstet bygg og havre. Humlen er Northern Brewer og Chinook. Alegjær gjør dette brygget veldig tungt og fyldig.

Konrad’s Stout is a new beer in the Brewer’s Reserve range, from Lervig’s head brewer Mike Murphy. A Russian Imperial Stout brewed with oatmeal.

Tap at Takanoya. Lervig Aktiebryggeri Konrads Imperial Stout 10.4% 1200¥ for 240ml at Takanoya but considering a bottle (330ml) retailed for 1000 or 1100yen it's not too bad. 1500¥ for 470ml but for me that would've been too much. Deep brown with a thick tan head and a rich chocolate banana bread aroma that has some sharply boozy elements as well. Medium bodied and yet it finishes surprisingly dry. The taste is richly sweet cacao and dark chocolate. A touch roasty and nutty in the finish, good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home. Deep brown, almost black colour, brown head disscipates fast. Nose is light roastedness. Taste is strong cocoa, light earth. Medium alcoholic warmth. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Could be a little bit more full bodied, feels like i had a shot.

taki stout bez właściwości, poprawne piwo, do zapomnienia, ale przynajmniej niedrogie, więc nie ma co wybrzydzać. trochę alkohol się wysuwa przed szereg, nieco psując smak.

3/III/17 - on tap @ ACBF (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2017-331) Thanks to all ratebeerians for sharing today’s beers!

Black beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: peated, smoky, roasted, charcoal, dark caramel, cocoa powder, coffee. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bitter, roasted, alcohol, sweet, some charcoal, bit hoppy, bitter touch. Aftertaste: roasted, coffee, bit sourish, lacking some complexity.

Weak aroma, nice dry roast coffee palate, slight taste of alcohol. Easy to drink for an imperial stout. Russian imp stouts are usually smoky but there’s none of that here.

Moist, bittersweet dark pralines, dark, toasted malts, liquorice, savoury, smokey. Black, medium, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More chocolate, dry cacao, dar roast coffee, dar, toasted, slightly burnt malts, coffee, soft carbonation, full bodied. Nice Impy, but not quite as balanced and complex as maybe I’d wished for. Bottle from BrewDog, Shepherd’s Bush.

Bottle at psbh
dense peaty brown-blwck with deep tan head collapsing to lacing. Unctuous, rich, thick, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, warming without being boozy, fairly high residual sweetness. Low carbonation, nice balancing toasty bitterness, cake, cocoa, touch of cola and tobacco. Excellent nightcap

Sampled at ACBF 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours black, no real head. Smell is weak, some burnt malts. Taste is roasted, sweet, thick, burnt malts. Bit bitter, nice and thick impy, yet perhaps not specificaly memorable.

Botella. Color negro opaco. Poca espuma.
