Nicely fruity over the standard coffee and chocolate ris aromas. It’s like putting some berries in your coffee sprinkled with dark chocolate. Taste is semi dry if not semi sweet. Keg at Bottlecraft, Hanley. A murky deep brown colour with no head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, soy sauce, chocolate, some nuts, slight salted caramel, a little dark fruits, a hint of oatmeal and subtle liquorice. Taste of coffee, salted caramel, roasted malts, some chocolate, slight oatmeal, a little dark fruits, subtle liquorice and subtle soy sauce. Medium to full bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, subtlely alcoholic, roasted chocolate bitterness in the finish. A flavourful and actually quite smooth imperial oatmeal stout. You get some soy sauce and liquorice but its mainly in the aroma. Sweet chocolate and salted caramel in the flavour. Nice, dry finish. PowY (1043) - AUSTRIA - JUL 16, 2017
330 ml bottle. Pours a nearly black, chestnut brown with a tan colored head. The aroma is medium malty, with mildly roasted malt with hazelnut, toffee, milk coffee and some herbal earthy hop qualities. Medium to full, oily body with hardly any carbonation, a light light-medium to medium sweetness and a light bitterness along with some noticeable alcohol. Roasty, medium bitter finish. The flavor is again full of roasted malt with a lot of chocolate and nuts/hazelnuts, dried fruits, prunes immediately followed by some litght vinous notes (white wine, grapes) and wood toward the finish, some vanilla - quite unexpected turn - then roasted malt in the finish, licorice, burnt wood.

Black hue with a thin light beige head. Rich dark cocoa nose with a gentle sweetness and a touch of dark malty depth. Big rich dark flavor with roasty black malts, bittersweet dark chocolate, some roast, a kiss of oatmeal malt and java and a boozy body with a black malty finish. Rich and dark and full and roasty and oat-y.
