COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En svrt mrk russisk imperial stout, brygget med pilsnermalt, sjokolademalt, karamellmalt, rstet bygg og havre. Humlen er Northern Brewer og Chinook. Alegjr gjr dette brygget veldig tungt og fyldig.

tanel025 (104) - ESTONIA - FEB 2, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2017 Not sure about this aroma. Black liquid with little head, not lasting. Taste is caramel, some hops, bread. Light sweet, medium bitter. Overall not bad, but for this bitterness maybe little bit more sweetness would do some good for balancing this stout. Re-rate: some cocoa in aroma, some oats and dark cholocate in taste. Too dry.

Czarna barwa z ładną brązową pianą. Czekoladowy aromat z kawą w tle. W smaku czekolada, ale generalnie dość wytrawna. Czuć paloność. Na finiszu kawa z gorzką czekoladą. Piwo jest gęste, ma sporo ciałą. Alkohol nieźle ukryty, rozgrzewa w przełyku. Niezły RIS

Bottle, BB 3.2.20. Appearance- pretty much jet black, no head to speak of. Aroma- chocolate fudge, dark fruit hints, Black Forest gateaux, dark chocolate, coffee, dark malts, cherry, hint of vanilla. Smells desserty. Taste- lots of rich coffee, dry roast, chocolate fudge, leather, vanilla, chocolate brownie, treacle toffee, burnt toast. Mouthfeel is thick and a bit fizzy, and chewy. A long bittersweet finish. Lovely stout.

Was expecting a lot more. Coffee and chocolate are at the forefront. Decent.
